Lol, stam DK pulls highest pve dps, has great skills for tanking and is very competative in pvp.

Magicka DK pulls highest pve dps of the magicka builds.

Are we talking about facing mobs or lowbies and noobs?

A good stamDK is competitive because they are likely a good player. That doesn't mean the tools at their disposal aren't the weakest set.

Theoretical Dot stacking versus purged and cloaked mitigations are a very different story.

Well DOTs pull NBs out of Cloak 9/10 times, purging often will drain magicka pretty fast and purge is almosy exclusive to magicka builds due to the high cost.

Stam DKs have insane healing (and stamina management) with the Igneous Shield, Vigor and Rally combo.

Good players play a sorts of diffent classes, not just stam DKs. If two evenly skilled players fight the one with a stam DK will always have a good chance of winning in my experience.

If you really think stam DKs have a bad toolkit for pvp you should watch some of Alcast his videos for example.

Don't get me wrong - I love Stamdk more than anyone with a passion. I believe there to be a correlation in good players and stamdks more than a causality of tools.
