Stamina Blocking Tank.
Playing a Magika Templar, only up to level 12 so far . I am really starting to enjoy sword and board combat. Blocking attacks and countering especially. If anyone ever played Neverwinter Online when that came out, I really excelled in PvP playing the sword and board tank (can't remember the name) in that game. I got really good at blocking and countering.
Is that style of game play feasible in ESO? Looking to be able to do group dungeons and PvP.
Seems to work really well against mobs, but have no idea how it would go at higher level, let alone against real players haha.
Looking for insight on whether block and counter with gap closers is something I could do, particularly in PvP.
If it would work, looking for class/race recommendations, I assume Reguard or Imperial would be best, because of the stamina needed for blocking and bashing. Not sure which class would work best though.

AverageJo3Gam3r✭✭✭✭✭StamDKs often run with sword and board. You cannot permablock in this game, so it's about timing. You should also learn how to animation cancel. Light attack+skill+bash has really good damage. Check out this video for more info:
