Riften River Fishing - where are the river fish??

Im trying to conquer fishing. In the Rift im trying to river fish, however all the rivers give lake fish. The 'only' river according to my addon destinations (the most western river) doesnt have any fishing spots active, have been checking back and forth for about an hour now. There must be more river fish spots somewhere I presume, right? Guys? Friends?! PALS?!?!
EDIT: After an even longer while, im noticing the placement of fishing holes are all janked up. I fished foul water fish on the lake, while not far down from where I was I was able to fish for lake fish. I found an additional river fish spot right under Fullhem Wayshrine, but in the same body of water (which isnt big at all) they turn into lake fish. MAKES ZERO SENSE!

Thrasher91604✭✭✭✭✭The river spots are all in the southwest. One is hard to find since it's hidden in rapids west of the bridge right above the waterfall.
