Clarification: welcome to cyrodiil quest

Just want to get clarification:

When you do this quest/tutorial, at the end you get 2 skill points since there's enough AP in the quest to give you 2 alliance ranks, yes?

If you SKIP the tutorial, you only get enough AP that levels your alliance rank to 1, therefore getting only 1 skill point in the process, right?

As in, you don't actually lose a skill point if you SKIP the tutorial, correct?

Just some clarification required pls.

I was unaware of ever getting two points. But I took an alt just the other day and skipped the siege tutorial as in a rush and I got a skill point so you definitely get one.

Do you definitely get two??

The skill points are only from ranking up, the quest itself doesn't actually give skill points.

If you do the entire tutorial you get 2 ranks which is 2 skill points.

That quest confused me so much when I first entered Cyrodiil. I recommend jumping right into PvP by going to a keep that is at the edge of your faction and looking to defend it from attackers. Ask zone chat for basic help, like how to port or obtain and use siege, and look up instructional Youtube videos for more in depth explanations of how PvP works. They'll be clearer than that quest. lol

Don't be discouraged by dying. Cyrodiil is a large and active place full of things that want to kill you -- and which know how to do it. Just shrug it off as part of the learning process. There is no penalty to dying other than a horse ride.
