Survey maps

I get that some where cheating with the exploit but if the map is removed when you get close to a node you should at least get a quest marker. I have already lost a few surveys because of this.

So apparently if you get too far from a survey it despawns. I was trying to find an enchanting one realized it was gone from my inventory and so looked up the locations not in any of them so guess I am sol because a few wanted to exploit.

Yeah, I've lost a few surveys because of walking in their vicinity without looking for them... This whole problem would have been solved by one simple code... just make the items character bound so, that like undaunted keys, you can't bank the items. Problem solved without all the fuss that's been caused.

not doing another survey til they fix it, soooo i guess ill never be doing surveys again.

I kinda depend on those to fund my guilds trader so guess I just need to grin and bear it. So solution for right now is don't open all the containers just one at a time, check for a survey complete survey and open next one. It will take much longer to finish but not like I have a choice. Just hopeful a better solution will roll around for DB.
