ESO Novels

I would love to see some Novels that revolve around the events that precede the Three Banners War and the things going on outside of the scope of the Vestige. Maybe following the adventures of some of the NPCs that we've ran into over the course of the game like Evie or Naryu Virian.

Maybe flesh out the whole Longhouse Emperors and Varen Aquilarios backstory.
Im absolutely confounded with any sort of explanation as to why Varen keeps speaking of the Elder Scrolls after he's outted as a fraud for telling the Vestige hes a former Moth Priest. Has he actually looked at the Elder Scrolls himself while he was Emperor or not?

Theres also the fact that we just dont know very much of how Aryenn was swept off to live with the Direnni, how she landed in a situation where Abnar Tharn himself tortured her, creating the hatred she now has for humans and why she never seems to express this racism.

What of the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, sure theres in book lore regarding it. But what are the specifics and how long did this Akaviri Invasion actually last? Weeks, months a year or two?

I think some books would be an interesting way of fleshing out the game world we're set in. Giving players and lore buffs a chance to really delve into the setting and period.

I would too but I'd rather it not be like ESO story where it's rated M but designed around teenagers.

I would also like more information about this, as the events of the invasion are confused even in-game. In particular there was that priestess of Vivec who asks you to lay those Pact forces to rest, but the quest keeps going on about VIVEC this and SNAKE Akaviri that, which only makes sense if she's talking about the first invasion--which is a little odd given the timeline of the game. Why exactly did we wait several centuries to lay these soldiers to rest? Or if they really meant the Kamal invasion--having Tsaesci soldiers in a Kamal army could be explained away as mercenaries, they were temporary allies, enslaved footsoldiers or whatever. But why go on about Vivec? It should be Almalexia, and surely a priestess of the Tribunal would know that!

As an avid reader and lover of reading, I'd love an Elder Scrolls Novel. I have a ton of game-related books from Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Even some from Dungeons and Dragons!

I honestly cant provide a link as I dont know where to locate the book that mentions this online. I thought to find something on UESP as theyve always seemed the most trustworthy place for ES lore. But they seem to be seriously lacking anything ESO related besides some information better suited for guides.

But I can tell you what book you can find this in. Its called The Rise of Queen Ayrenn and specifically states according to Nuulehtel of Skywatch, who claims to be an advisor to the Queen herself, that the Queen had apparently run off while travelling from the Palace to the Crystal Tower for her matriculation. She had "stolen away to the Isle of Balfiera, to live with the Direnni at the Adamant Tower.".

You can also find this passage in the book The Elder Scrolls Online Tales of Tamriel Book I: The Land.

    Thank you! Found it.

Edit: And found the bit about Abnur!

This explains why I couldn't find text for it anywhere. :P

From the way @Lawrence_Schick is telling it there, it doesn't sound so much like 'Ayrenn hates humans' and is more like 'Ayrenn hates warmongering humans' which is more in line with her personality and the official stance of First Aldmeri Dominion propaganda.

Ive actually found some blaring inconsistencies with Aryenn, and the lore regarding her now that I looked into that passage farther.

They claim shes 28 as of 2E 582 but she should be 27 (unless miraculously she had two birthdays in one year) as her birthdate is claimed to be 2E 555. Granted now that the game is in 2E 583 with Wrothgar she might in fact now be 28.

That same passage that I pointed out claims she went missing 20 years ago. Putting her disappearance at the age of 7 or so with the adjusted age. But the following passage in the Tales of Tamriel called Aryenn: The Unforseen Queen claims the date of her disappearance to be in the year of 2E 573. Putting her at 17-18.
