#SaveCyrodiil2016

I've had enough of the lag. As a pvp player this has really gone on long enough. This should be ZoS first priority. More people need to speak up about this problem and, get it through ZoS thick skulls that this is just some ***. Except everytime you bring it up everyone is all "Oh another cyrodill lag thread, get over it, it's the way it is.. blah blah blah.."

I feel like we should be filling up these forums with threads about the lag in cyrodiil. It should be a bigger deal and, we shouldn't just settle with it. *** the DB DLC.. Give me a Cyrodiil lag fix before anything.

    They would if they could.

It´s been an issue since 2014.

Most players around since then probably came to realize they can´t fix it. It´s either too expensive to do or technically not possible for them.

It's so bad though. I think if more people were vocal and consistent with the cyrodiil situation we might be able to at least get a legit response.

Actually, the community has been extremely vocal about the lag. I don't know how much MORE vocal we could all be. We still get the responses of "we're working on it" but don't see very many attempts, or we're not communicated with.

Despite all the problems we've had in Cyrodil , I'm very grateful they never give up on it . Other MMOs have in the past . I'd rather bear with the struggle . The work continues even if the conversation of how doesn't .

The community could be way more vocal about the lag situation in cyrodiil. We need to throw civility and our current acceptance of the situation out the window. How long has it been since we've heard anything about eso pvp from ZoS anyways.

If we get any more "vocal" it would probably result in a ban wave

Our eyes once were blinded, now through him do we see. Our hands once were idle, now through them does he speak. And when the world shall listen, and when the world shall see, and when the world remembers, that world will cease to be. - Miraak

It's simply not worth the cost to invest heavily in trying to fix the Cyrodiil lag, since Cyrodiil is not what generates any kind of meaningful income for ZOS.

All this marketing speak about PvP being an important part of ESO fell flat on its face a long time ago.

Agreed. I think that idea got shafted with the pre release uproar on the "eso won´t have raiding content" by the raid community.
ZOS somewhat dropped the pvp focus and began with craglorn and trials.

In the end they failed to satisfy pvp player and raid players alike and are now switching to somewhat solo/smallgrp pve b2p content.

Atleast that´s the feeling i get when i looking back at pre release information and what happend with/after release. Nobody knows though ;)

There's a decent amount of only pvp dedicated players. Losing those players hurts the overall income. They lose crown store purchases, eso plus memberships.. etc. Leaving pvpers in the dark and unsatisfied is just plain stupid.

Not to mention that I'd love to pvp without having to worry about lag that can at times be game breaking. Is that to much to ask for?

How much time do you honestly want to spend pissing into the wind where so many others have been?

A lot of people who were vocal have given up because there's only so much you can do before it's pointless and someone new comes to take up the mantle. Don't confused silence with apathy.

The lag has gotten a lot better. If you remember the old days of stacking flags and spamming AoE for 30 minutes until the server caught up. Though it still has a ways to go.

They wont say "We cant fix the lag because we are monkeys" It will be bad for publicity. Nor will they say we have no plans to fix cyro lag any time soon as it will again, bad for publicity IMO they don't have the financial funding that they used to when the game was younger and tbh alot better. Look at the server performance and how it has slowly been downgraded servers that hold below half of what we had at the games launch and we get server destroying lag. There wont be a lag fix coming anytime soon as its financially smart for them as he damage has already been done and the pvp players they spent alot of money to please, will leave with the coming of better more PVP Focused games with competent devs. (Camelot Unchained)

Edit: Also PVP Just doesn't generate money for ZOS if we had the PVP player base we had in 1.6 Or prior we would have had a case but we don't :(

If you want them to fix the lag you have to hit them where it counts. The wallet that way they have no reason to ignore it.To do this we must make a media uproar about it.Spread this all over social media ruin their image so they have to fix the lag. They don't read their forums anyway.Hit them where it hurt if you ruin or hurt their public image they have to focus on the lag to improve it.So I say we spam everything they do publicly with messages talking about PVP lag and their refusal to fix it.If we do this enough they will be left with two options. 1.Fix their dam game or 2.Keep this bad image and throw off new players.

Kinda like the only option we're left with.

Both PVP and PVE are terrible atm. Right now I'm staring at a startup screen with "Could not retrieve announcements" and can't log in at all. Every day you get kicked 5-10 times from Cyrodiil and the campaign isn't even pop locked! Wtf ZeniMax. Wtf. I'm scared every time there's a new dlc now. I can't wait to see performance after more people enter into Cyrodiil for the Imperial City revamp..
