Found Legendary Treasure with no value

as title says, I found golden treasure with 0 value which it said " place this in the library at the thieve's den so u will be remembered" something like that.. and that's what I did, I placed it there in the behind the glass in the showcase, then it disappeared .. anyone has any idea what good is golden treasure?

blutoesub17_ESOSoul ShrivenIt may have been one of the items on Kit's Hit List. If you find all of them you earn a special collectible and the title of Master Thief for your character. The hit list is on the table in the middle of the room where the display cases are.
