Loading Screen Information Too Fast

This is not a major issue by any means, but more of an annoyance. When I'm loading a zone or dungeon or location, I get the little blurb on the bottom that gives a little history or lore. And in less than 3 seconds, it's replaced with tutorial information. I wanted to read the lore information! Is there a way to turn off the informational text so that I can have time to read the lore before it disappears? Why is there no time given to read it?

Thanks.

Hi Humble! I know what you mean, those interesting tidbits do fly by! I am sorry to say I know of no way to turn off the informational texts.

Thanks for the response. It might be something ZOS could look at adjusting in a future patch. I know it's not a huge deal but it would be nice to read the information on the place I'm about to go into.

    Thanks again.

I agree. I'd love to read the fluff text, but I can't because it's replaced with instructions on weapon swapping or something equally as useless. It may be good for new players, but for us that have been here since beta, it's pointless.

Can the timing be changed to give us 10 seconds to read the initial fluff piece, before switching?

Agreed, I'd love to be able to read the "fluff text," especially when I'm only going to get to see it once, like in one-time-only-per-character quest locations.

    I completely agree!
And it should be a total no-brainer to implement!

In fact, I'd go as far as saying its probably 1 line of code. You just need an IF statement that checks the already existing TUTORIALS switch/variable in the menu. That would help that specific setting have more meaning, because when you have played the game long enough that specific setting lose all meaning, because it would have by then ran through all the tutorials as they happened in the first, say 5 levels.

Just make these "tips" disappear if you have the TUTORIALS setting on OFF and problem solved!
I would also prefer following the lore than seeing the same tip over-and-over-and-over-and-over.

    Yes, this makes sense.
