Goes to the activity finder.

I know that there have been many threads before this one but I needed to vent my frustration.

I have been queued all day for the Vet daily. I have sat in the queue for about an hour, 3 separate times without every being grouped. The reason I feel like I am being trolled is I have an estimate time of 2 minutes, 5 minutes, back to 2 minutes. Rinse. Repeat.

I have tried all the tricks. Didn't move, stayed in the same zone, avoided loading screens, etc.

What is wrong with this tool?

Finding dungeons before TG was no problem. I could even find them a few weeks after the DLC but now it has become a chore to use a tool, that is supposed to make grouping easy.

I know I should find a PvE guild to avoid this frustration but it is hard on consoles. If any PS4 users have a said guild, my name is in the signature.

I use it all the time and never have an issue. when I queue as a healer/tank almost instant however when you queue as DPS it takes long. I just don't move at all stand there and wait generally if I queue as a DPS. Because there is a surplus of DPS in game since everyone wants to be a DPs instead of tank or healer.

Never used to the tool in 2 years of me playing this game. I am in 4 trading guilds and 1 PvP guild. Calls for daily dungeons and trials happen almost every 5 minutes.
Also most major towns has chat littered with requests for people to join pledges. Never really found grouping a issue whatsoever.

But the daily dungeon gives over 100k exp and some nice loot too.
Like he said he's on console, which from my understanding is harder to group up from chat etc.

Exactly.

If there were a chat box on console, I imagine grouping would not be a problem.

Unfortunately, my friends/guild mates have moved on from this game for Fallout, call of duty, and division. (It seems console players can only play a game for about 3 months, IMO)

I am a DPS and aware of longer wait times, which I am fine with accepting. My complaint was the fact that I was in the queue for over an hour when it estimated a wait of 5 minutes...

Yes. I am used to a 30 minute wait time but usually the finder gives me that time as an estimate.

RNG is sweet to me. I almost always get divines or impenetrable from the monster sets. Not the usual well-fitted.

I love the little extra troll it gives you, when it sometimes puts another person in your group... And then they leave.

That is bad but the worst is when you wait 30+ minutes, finally get a group, travel to the dungeon, only to find out the leader disbanded while you were in a load screen. Those individuals deserve a RNG curse.

The other day, I joined a group as a DPS, and we also had a tank and a healer. The leader (a tank) put us in group finder so we could get the last DPS. This should have popped right away since there are probably many DPS in queue. That didn't happen - instead, we sat in the queue for quite a while, after which the group leader left because he was tired of waiting. It made me group leader, so I re-queued us so we could pick up another tank and the last DPS. Within about 30 seconds, the group finder placed FOUR more people in our group, so we had a total of SIX! I had to kick two poor people who had probably waited for a while in that queue.

Clearly, the group finder needs some work.

This happens too often.
When you get put into 3 man group it usually means:
1) the group is halfway through the boss and half their party left out of frustration.
2) you are about to put into a 5+ person group.

Hardly does the tool work properly in this situation.
