Good spots to farm Rubedo scraps?

Been gathering mats for all my characters for when they remove veteran levels, and all I need now are a decent pile of Rubedo leather for medium armor, but I can't seem to find decent spots, and all searching on the internet has hinted at is Coldperch Cavern. Any input would be appreciated.

Old Orsinium is a decent place to farm mats.

Also VCOA. Go in solo kill the senche and crocs at the bottom and back out and repeat. There are about 35 scraps in the first part alone.

Really hope they add rubedo leather scraps to Cyrodiil - currently you can get the other V16 mats there like ancestor silk, ruby ash, rubedite ore, repora etc, but all the mobs seem to drop only Shadowhide scraps.

Old Orsinium as has previously been said - just run around in the second zone of the dungeon with harpies and hags and bears, and collect leather as you pass. Got about 300 raw mats per vet level (around 55 min), if those numbers help.

@IcyDeadPeople You can get rubedo scraps in Cryodiil. I get them all the time from random wolves, lions, bats, and stuff. Granted, it is not a fast method to farm mats, but they do exist.

Are these in a particular delve or particular area? I've tried killing wolves, lions, bats etc all over the map, from BloodMayne to Ft Warden to Kingscrest, so far only find shadowhide.

Nope, just overworld mobs. I'm pretty sure you need 50 Clothing and have the Tailoring skill maxed. I never get shadowhide in Cryodiil.

I have 50 clothing, tailoring skill maxed and character is V16, easily find ancestor silk nodes but whenever I kill these mobs, only shadowhide drops. Maybe this is some sort of bug. I mean after a while I collected stacks of shadowhide trying to find rubedite leather scraps.

Odd. I hope that gets fixed. Like I said, it's not a fast method since the mobs are spread pretty far apart, and they only have a drop about 30-50% of the time; but when the do drop it is rubedo scraps.

I'm primarily on PS4, which is where I'm basing my information on. It might be different on PC.

Huh. I only get Superb Hide scraps in Cyrodiil with 10/10 Clothing and VR16. All my Rubedo Leather Scraps come from dungeons like Wayrest Sewers, good place with all those Skeevers and crocs.

Cracked wood cave in cyrodill is a good farming spot for xp, but i recall a lot of wolves giving me rubedo. You can rack up a lot of loot to sell as well.

Grinded a lot in there during the cake week. Ended up with tons of shadowhide scraps but zero rubedo
