Magicka sorc vs magicka NB

So I have a magicka sorc vet lvl 16 and I was thinking about making a magicka NB. I was just wondering what are the main differences in the play style of the two. Is it just shields vs life sap or are the very core of the play style different? I know a stam blade would be vastly different but is a magicka one as well?

Nb is more sustained damage than burst, unless youre doing vd bombs.

The mag Nightblades ate are generally much more offensive and does not rely much on defense . They have higher control over their burst and fight very successfully in melee range as well similar to their stamina counterparts. They are better sustained mostly and have good mobility.
A sorcerer has much better defense and can maintain both offense and defense at the same time. On the other hand, the Nightblades deal with their main damage spell and are good debuffing others while buffing themselves.
In general, the nightblade has a much bigger independence when it comes to their style of combat.

They are as different as night and day. They accomplish the same thing thrive different means.

To properly describe how they differ would take to much to be a proper explanation.

    1. Watch some YouTube vids of both.
    2. Level up a NB and see for yourself. (Dunmer or Hugh elf if you don't like Dunmers).

Sorc was my second character. NB my second. My Sorc is a mule now but that's due to my preferences.
