    If you max out your Crafting, there's a passive skill in the skill lines that limits research times to no longer than 30 days.

    This helps greatly with those last two traits on... pretty much everything. It's still a long time to wait, but it's better than 46 days.

    Now if we could find a way to get Enchanting to advance as fast as the other Crafting skills...

    Research time is pretty much the only passive I put skill points in. You don't need any to improve an item, so you can just get white armor sets made cheap and then just improve them yourself. Funner to do it your self but you can save 30 skill points on your crafter this way.

    Whilst you don't need any to improve items, they make it a lot cheaper. It takes twenty legendary materials to upgrade something without passives and only eight with the full passive.

    Well, that's weird.

    As for the sub part, did you look at your character sheet and make sure the "ESO Plus" buff is on you?

    As for the skill points.. uhm... double check you didn't forget to put them in after a respec? If not.. I'd put in a ticket.

    Additionally, you are much more likely to get legendary materials from deconstructing, which further boosts your ability to craft stuff.

    Sorry, I put points into that one as well, 3 each I think. I was mostly referring to the first one that takes 10 points just to make white V16 gear.

    46 days to research your 9th trait...? Hm... I think this math may or may not help you out:

    6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 192, 384, 768 = 1,530 hours = 63.75 days per weapon or armor piece to completely research every trait.

    Blacksmithing = 7+7 = 14. sets of 8 traits to research
    1,530 x 14 = 21,420 hours = 892.5 days. with no skill points invested in research time reduction.
    (21,420 x 0.8) / 3 = 5,712 hrs / 24 = 238 days. to research every trait for every weapon and armor piece in this craft.

    Clothing = 7+7 = 14. sets of 8 traits to research
    1,530 x 14 = 21,420 hours = 892.5 days. with no skill points invested in research time reduction.
    (21,420 x 0.8) / 3 = 5,712 hrs / 24 = 238 days. to research every trait for every weapon and armor piece in this craft.

    Woodworking = 5+1 = 6. sets of 8 traits to research
    1,530 x 6 = 9,180 hours = 382.5 days. with no skill points invested in research time reduction.
    (9,180 x 0.8) / 3 = 2,448 hrs / 24 = 102 days. to research every trait for every weapon and armor piece in this craft.

    Yes, make sure your addons are updated.

    And, what does the Crafting Station say for the time left?

    There's an issue with addons where, if you log in on another character and check your research times, you'll see the research time as it would appear for the character you're logged in on. I know this can create situations where non-crafting characters can see research timers above 30 days on a tier 4 researcher. I think it can also create negative research times when viewing characters with more points in the appropriate research perk. But, I'm less sure of the second case.
