I don't see any one of those issues as a major cause of frustration but I do see a good mix of many often enough. I don't encounter blatant exploiters as often as I could but when I do, it just completely ruins the experience for me. I don't mind a teabag on my corpse if I've been a jerk but when I get steamrolled by a 20+ zerg, it just feels out of place. The faction communication thing hurts sometimes as well. Not enough people willing to lead a group and those same people complaining they can't find a group gets old fast.

Like any family there's days we all get along an then there's the week before thanksgiving when everyone last minute cancels . Uncle Leo goes MIA on a drinking binge and Aunt Sara hates everyone for ruining the holiday after she spent 2 weeks shinning the China ... Then by Christmas and after rehab everyone sings by the fireplace with hot coco ...

It changes too much to be a poll .

I hate that people swap sides so much.

AD trueflame is dead on PC/NA apparently because the guilds that have stayed switched to red sea. DC is having an even worse time.

I play on all three alliances. And in zone chat the complaints are all the same. No matter which alliance, they always think the other two are ganging up on them, the other side is cheating, the other side is spying, the other side is spaming to cause lag blah blah blah.

So many cheaters... Just, so many...

If I had to select just one, the cheaters would be it. Not only does it happen, but the conduct represents everything I dislike about MMOs.

I used to think people exaggerated the amount of cheating that was going on, that they were just whining about dying in PvP or losing a keep. But now that I've been in PvP semi-regularly, I've seen it. Things like suicide scrolling (stealing a scroll, letting another faction player kill you, then claiming lag or something). Or claiming they are "spying." (Seriously? Spying is when you can be killed. This is cheating.) Emperor trading. Things like that.

The thing about PvP is you get to play with ANYONE ... and that includes people who are perfectly willing and happy to cheat.

I tried player versus player once, never again. I mean I slayed Molag Bal and saved the realms FFS. I'll be damned if I let some neckbeard mashing Dorito encrusted buttons ruin my day with their animation cancelling exploits and shuffle stacks. No sir, I don't have to put up with that, thank you very much.

Hopefully that also helps lag in Cyrodil if it's acceptable to remove the PvE out of the PvP

Besides lag I have 2 main issues with people in Cyrodiil. One(lesser one actually) is jerks, the other, and the reason why I hardly go there anymore is potatoes/zergers. People who don't know any better than to spam Jesus Beam at 52k health person at 100% health...but flock in such gigantic groups you get 4 fps, get hit by 5 jesus beams at once and insta die.

I wish we had arenas/battlegrounds for more or less even battles so badly but I have a feeling I'll be long gone before we even get an ETA on them.

e: In all seriousness, on EU PC on Azuras my god my alliance on that campaign are bloody idiots. I wonder how they're going to pass their exams/have passed their exams in school.

There are lots of great people but there are a few that think they are PvP gods or that they invented every build and strategy in the game.

There is also too much "secret information" that the top guilds hold to themselves to get an advantage over other players. It's somewhat the nature of this game since most skills don't work the tooltip says they work and the way most people think they work, but I think its time for all of us in the know to post a big list of PvP dirty tricks to level the playing field. I don't use most of them but I am sick of people thinking they are good because they do.


Edit: And also those people who think they are Sun Tzu reincarnated and only their strategy will win the campaign. When they flat out won't help if its not their plan. They suck too.

I would vote "No problems here! PvP Community is awesome!". But the lag kinda kills any and most PvP. The only thing that doesn't get lagged are small battles. But other then that I have no problems with PvP. Sure someone can screw up sometimes, the tactics can get koko. And we can for whatever reason end up defending or attacking the wrong keep. But in general, in my opinion PvP is pretty dang good. ^^

Compared to other games, this game's community is spectacular. It is more mature and chill and approachable than that some other social game I've played.

*cough* I'm looking at you, League of Legends.

I can count on one hand the number of actual d*cks I've envountered in PvP. Most of the trash talk that you see sensitive kids complaining about is done by people who are actually really cool if you relax and talk back and make humor of the situation. Same with tbagging. A good tbag is a wonderful thing. I have made friends with a lot of the notorious "trolls" and d-bags of the community by just not taking offense, trading some good trash talk banter, laughing with them, and tbagging them hard at my next opportunity. It's all good times. Haha

I LOVE this game's community. Seriously, go play League for a while. You'll come clammoring back in no time.

I've found the majority of players that I come across are pretty nice, I may be a bit silly in zone chat but I've made heaps of friends that way and I've made some by sending nice whispers to players on all factions and have really been enjoying myself with my mates on AD. I even made a DC and EP that I am going to play on bwb with. Should be a hoot.

Bring on the good times.

I am all about faction camaraderie, and to a greater extend, community camaraderie. This game still beats a pulse if there are happy players.

My faction can't get it together! (Miscommunication)

Just started EP pvp, and man, do we feck up.
NOONE TALKS just a bunch of lvl 10s screaming and lfg. And the actual strong players are always soloing. In teams with around 30 players we still get destroyed by a group of 5 dc or ad, they just pick us apart. And everyone in PC moves like a mindless hurt, falling for the same trick over and over and over......
Today a group of 23 EP kept running towards arrius keep and kept getting ganked from the back again and again. And they just kept trying like 10 times, dying everytime. Really sad. No talking or answering questions either, just lfg and silence.

With Dark Lord Sarenvog defeated, Unruh vaporized, Krotha confused in life, there simply isn't a central villain for me to go after at this moment. Haxus and Hektik? Old news.

I simply cannot entertain the forums with great content unless there is another entity bringing out the best in THE COVENANT.
