When exploring in Tamriel put the headphones over the ears. Be sure to use a device independent from your PC to plug the headphones into yes.
Put on folk song about horsies loudly.
Hear the hissing and the other strange noises no longer!

Well, maybe that's because I turned ESO sounds off and blast music whilst gaming, but I really doubt that.
And right you are: de gustibus non est disputandum (one cannot discuss taste).vyndral13preub18_ESO wrote: »I actually do this. My problem is a love all the voice actung they have. It is one of the best qualities of the game. So while i turn off most the sound I like to keep character voices on. And then play music. So it makes me sad.
In pvp i can turn off all sound since the lag makes the sound affects mostly pointless anyway.

Everything runs so much smoother on the 64-bit client, but the sound bugs are atrocious.
I really wish they would fix that.
It's kind of funny (or not) that ZOS hasn't figured out yet the source of the problem.jamesharv2005ub17_ESO wrote: »It takes a couple hours to start happening but I get the white noise hiss and the random out of place sounds. Lockpicking also has odd sounds rather than what should be. I hear randomly someone unsheathing a weapon too even alone with no NPCs around. Waterfall noises in buildings and dungeons without a waterfall in them.
Just curious when the 64 bit client will get some kind of update. I understand its not being updated in DB either but in incremental patches. Just curious where we are with the 64 bit client and what future plans you guys have for it.
