I recently picked up Eso and made a new character. While leveling up I noticed there are really few people around. Am I right or there are only less players in starting areas?
    PC/EU

P.S. There was not even a good old "How can I ride a horse" type of questions in chat.

tons of people playing. also tons of people trying to get their alts to lvl 50 before DB comes. there are just lots of grind spots now that you dont have to be in the low lvl zones. tbh i think it sort of sucks because there is a very low reward being in low zones

They Need to Release BIGGER DLC's, like in other MMO's

And only release them every couple of years, like in other MMOs?

Players don't like if it's too Easy and not Challenging, and they need a Motivation to continue Playing the Game.

Actually, they need something to do in order to continue playing the game. The DLC plan that ZOS is using maximizes that across the game population. The alternative is waiting for a year, or more, for some expansion pack that is nothing more than 4 or 5 DLC worth of content.

Right now we are getting not only a DLC every quarter, but updates to classes and skills every quarter. Even at this pace, people are complaining that it is not fast enough. I am sure those people won't wait for 12-18 months between class and skill changes. They barely want to wait 3 months.

I think that ZOS made the right decision here. Frequent updates and DLC content through the year instead of waiting and waiting and waiting for an expansion. I just hope that ZOS is prepared to maintain the pace.

As for game population, I am not seeing a game population issue. I was in guild chat last night while standing outside of the starting house in PC/NA Daggerfall. People were streaming out of the house all night, on a Monday, and not all of them looked like they were alts that bypassed the Wailing Prison.

Well, this is very true, I am using that house in Daggerfall as "mine" - so all my characters return to there every day, on PC EU megaserver that is. And every time when I get there, there are some newbies around that house, who figure out, what has to be done next or are talking to the first quest NPC near the house. There are plenty of new players, not just alts, IMO.

Check Elden Root, it seems like there's 50-100 people there on average for NA Xbox.

I agree 200% if that's even possible :) They need at least one real expansion that doubles or triples the size of the world along with a lot of quests, dungeons, raids, the pve end game is lacking big time, along with the dlc's, the dlc's just don't have enough meat on the bones to keep you going for long.

I noticed the AD starter area on PC/NA seems to be pretty busy, and not everyone seems to be someone's alt, there are noob questions in zone, nice to see those, on twitch the Russian channels have a lot of viewers and the game is going to release officially in Japan soon.

You can tell the experienced players (alt characters) because they come out of the house looking like wretched souls and make a bee line to the starter island quest giver and the bank. The people who do the Wailing Prison have better equipment. The new players stand in the street trying to figure out what the heck they are supposed to do next.

Yes, that is what I meant, I see a lot standing around the house, trying to figure out what to do next. Just like I did it, when I first emerged from that house - I did not even see the first quest NPC just opposite of that house leaning at a post, because I was so overwhelmed from seeing the city and mounts and different armor styles and costumes and stuff. It took me actually days, to recognize, that that NPC leaning there at the post is my supposed next quest giver

In PC NA, I seem to be tripping over people everywhere I go, especially when my thief is doing pickpocket quests or my sorcerer is grinding Rkindaleft. I have characters in every alliance, and none of them seem empty to me. The most empty I see things is in the wilderness of Grahtwood on the characters that have AD as Cadwell's Gold.

In first DC areas(prophet location and first small island, forgot names) I saw like 10 people,.Maybe in Stormhaven there will be more people running around.

few people even went to those starter islands even when the game was new. I only go to them for the Skyshards and then ignore them altogether. The only exception being Balfoyon for the farming

The black arrow over their head should be a dead giveaway that they have a quest and that alliance is the most noob friendly as the person is literally right across the street from where you exit.

Maybe not everyone noticed. I can't remember what happened the time my first character came out of the tutorial over two years ago.
