Need Help with Khajiit Sorc

So my main on ESO is a magicka Khajiit sorc. I know it's not the best race for magicka sorcs, so don't bother with that. She goes full light armor with all 64 points into magicka. So far I have 4 pieces of Magnus armor and a yellow fire Magnus staff. Currently I'm experimenting with duel wield and have 3 armor pieces of Night's Silence and 1 sword of that and 1 Magnus sword. She is too weak for melee combat with just staves, so I'm trying to get her more suited for that. I need help with what skills and if this is a viable build.

Ps I'm not rerolling her. I put way too much effort on her, i.e. crafting, leveling, achievements, etc.

This will at the least take advantage of the khajiit version of robust passive. Have you considered playing a Khajiit sorc as a stamina build though? At the least you'd have access to carnage passive from your racial going that route. Just a thought anyway. If not I still think you can make your build work well, it will just be a little disadvantaged with respect to an altmer for example.

Probably for the stealth speed and such - she could consider going Vampire for the dark stalker passive. It sounds like vampires are going to be a lot better in DB than they are now. That being said I can understand the desire to keep the character 'clean' and theme is obviously an important thing to this player.

Love how everyone is saying make it a crafting mule or reroll. Everyone always ignores the hidden khajiit passive: We're the coolest race.

I would suggest trying a stamina build if you're worried that your other racials arent helping you enough - though stamina sorc definitely has things harder than other stamina classes right now. I find that stamsorc works best with an archery setup, because you have access to major brutality, increased heavy attack damage, and crit-based heals, so you're not really reliant on things like rally to keep you alive and fighting.

The downside, of course, is that most of your other abilities as a sorceror will be pointless on a magicka build. You can use the clannfear with some success as a psuedo-tank to hold aggro on enemies, but for pvp and endgame pve that wont matter much. Just run the daedric armor, surge, and 3 weapon skills instead.

If you like archery you could make this a viable dual-bow setup, by making one bar your single target and one bar for aoe. Throw the new thundering presence/hurricane skill on the aoe bar with the improved hail of arrows morph (endless barrage?) we're getting with dark brotherhood, and bombardment to keep enemies rooted in place and get some burst damage to go with the dots. For the single target bar just run snipe/poison injection/magnum shot (if you need the CC/distance) or silver bolts (for extra damage, its getting improved in db).

Build her like any other magicka sorc, all you have is less stats.

With a good rotation and good gear you would probably pull more DPS than the persons here complaining. Not that big of a difference in the end anyways (and a video of someone good that's actually tested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awwoMBb5ti4)

Thank you for sharing the video! I know my Khajiit isn't as powerful as say an Altmer, but it's kind of a personal choice for me. I made her when I really got into the game. It wasn't until I really got into pvp that I noticed that she isn't the strongest build. However, I make up the poor passives with high magicka recovery, usually at 3000 buffed.

A high elf will never look as good as a khajiit, though.

I have a Khajiit Sorc... but it's stamina build, my magicka Sorc is Breton. I don't see why you wouldn't take advantage of a stamina build Sorc if you're a Khajiit with higher stamina recovery, stealth, and weapon crit bonus. My main focus is a PvE double bow Sorc using pets in the field and utility in groups.

First Bar: Focused Aim, Critical Surge, Venom Arrow, Clannfear, Twilight Monarch.
Second Bar: Scorched Earth, Thundering Presence, Acid Spray, Clannfear, Twilight Monarch.
When in groups Swap Clannfear for Evil Hunter and Dark Conversion, swap Twilight for Degeneration and Restraining Prison.

As a Khajiit you have incredibly high weapon crit, I'm sporting 80% crit currently, if I were to swap into a Hunding's Rage/Night Mother combo I could push it even higher.

And with the vet ranks being removed, nothing really changes except in appearance. Champ 160=vr 16.

Just do it man, make the character you want and you'll have more fun with it. The only time I get help from passives is when I'm chugging potions, Healing myself with my clannfear or swimming away from ***.

I play my Khajiit Sorc alt as Stamina, even with all the Stam Sorc issues, and she is a lot of fun. As others have suggested, level up the Bow, because it's much stronger than you might think. When you start getting hate whispers about "Bombard spam" from much better players... then you know you're doing something right! The "Marksman" armor set is awesome for a build like this.

I also have a Stamina Khajiit Sorc. Waiting on VR removal so I can play with her. I use Marksmen as well on my Stamina Redguard NB, it is as good as folks are talking it up to be. Goes without saying my StamSorc will love it when she puts it on. Bow, is also pretty great right now. Poison injection and Lethal Arrow tools I know I will be using on my StamSorc.

I never understand whiners like this. Its a playstyle. Its like saying people shouldn't play nightblades, or sorcs or something. Many of us have experienced moments when our classes/builds were better or weaker. I think it is a maturity thing. I also agree as I said earlier, you'll get more bang for the buck out of a stamina sorcerer as a khajiit. I'm also very hopeful that they'll make the Crit Surge more meaningful in the future. If they do that, this build will get a lot better.
