I had the pleasure of quietly watching you guys do this live last night. I'm impressed at how consistent you are at these numbers. Doing 40k here and there is one thing, doing it almost every parse is another, real nice mang.

In other news I killed a Boss with 1 attack from the Blade of Woe..A boss who had nearly half a million health so their for my DPS is even higher.

First off, congrats, damn good rotation and dps. I know that being in a well built group helps with buffs and you worry less about the "just in case" skills like armor buffs and emergency self heals. But when you run solo, what are typical dps numbers you pull?

I have a whole notepad of dps parses if you want to see my highest 4man stuff. In pug groups im not sure it varies a lot because you never ever know what you are in for lol

I need some advice. I've been using pretty much the exact same spec as you for a while (obviously getting nowhere near the numbers you are)
I do like the damage I do, however the biggest drawback I find with it is the complete lack of ultimate generation? I seem to only get it with light/heavy attacks, but with the amount I'm spamming rapid strikes (and I try to fit in 1-2 LAs in between, and 1-2 LAs in between whirlwind executes) I barely generate any ultimate.. my magicka DK can use his standard like twice every big trash pack. On this toon, I barely manage one ultimate per boss..

am I using way too much rapid strikes? where do you fit in LAs?

As far as I know they haven't buff'd stamina DK yet. Stamina DK has 2 offensive class abilities that are stamina based (if we're excluding the ultimate). You have high DPS that's a great thing and awesome to achieve but stamina DK does need a buff with two abilities to use that are both mediocre in PvP (unless you're doing a 1 v 1 with high mitigation 5 heavy).

There is no DK is the best 1v1 class two ultimates do not justify that imo especially if you deck out each comparing class in the same gear and near same ability (by near same ability Hardened armor to Immovable). This comment is just for those who may talk about DKs being the best 1v1 class.

Isn't stamina dk currently the strongest thing in pvp?
unstable flame is the strongest dot in the game, add maelstrom daggers to it
burning breath is also incredibly strong and an easy way to get major fracture and a strong dot

Those abilities are insane amount of damage and debuff, stamina dk has amazing survive skills, amazing damage skills. and the class is resolved around dots, using maelstrom daggers in pvp will probably be a thing considering how rapid strikes is now.

Let's not forget, every single ultimate they have is useful and they have the one of the strongest burst damage ultimate (take flight) AND they have the strongest ultimate in game (banner)

for example: rapid strikes > light attack > unstable flame > light attack > rapid strikes > light attack > rendering slashes.

Comes from playing mmos with a standard mmo ui. These addons are just there to compensate for the lack here.
But no wonder Console players are a bit overwhelmed by it, after all the only thing they usually have to watch out for is whether mario and luigi have gone down the correct drain pipe

Do you have a build guide anywhere? I'm guessing it's something like 5 TBS, kena+bloodspawn 3 agility/ alkosh Maelstrom dagger and axe and bow but was pretty interested in cp allocation and mundus etc.

I have a wood elf stamina DK that is really starting to put up good numbers. What is your gear if you don't mind listing it?

Awesome numbers by the say and have been looking on how to rotate out dots so any help with that as well would be appreciated.
