Is gender bias a factor in Node Stealing?

Farmers in Craglorn, when you've had someone take the node you killed a big mob of wasps or Welwas or whatever to harvest, have you ever wondered if it has to do with your character's gender? Men, do you get your nodes stolen as often as females? Females, do you feel like males take your nodes more often? Do you not notice the absconder's gender and just loathe them for being inconsiderate? Do you not care either way?

How so? Men might feel like ladies feel entitled to take, with the ladies first attitude, ladies may feel like men take the nodes because they feel entitled to, there could be no common thread between any of it, I am just curious how it is on all sides.

How do you know the gender of the player behind the toon? Is there an add-on for that?

What the heck... just no, you're going down a rocky road. Also the equivalent term to 'men' is 'women', not 'ladies'. Ladies are women who have been knighted or something.

    ...what?o.O
What on Earth makes you think the jerk going for that node gives a damn about your gender? They want that node, they don't want you... Heck I highly doubt they even glance at your char at all(not to mention char's gender=/=player's gender). Alternatively, how'd YOU know their gender?

Not sure why make such a poll but this seems somehow biased to me...

You want to know if players choose to node steal based on character gender? Why?

For the last time, this only applies to your characters gender not yours! I won't say this again or contribute to drama, this is an open ended discussion for people to compare playing as male or female and if they feel taken advantage or not by the opposite gender or if it is not a factor. There is no bias.

...no offence, but why'd they care about your char gender? Can you seriously see a player be like "oooo a free node! Ohhhh wait this is a female toon! No I don't steal from female toons, I only steal nodes from male toons!" or vice versa?._.

Wait, you said it's mostly male toons stealing from your female toon in your experience. So..."ooo a free node! No, I can't just take it, can I? Oh nvm it's a female toon! Sure I can! ...wait, I'm on my female toon too. Shoot. Almost forgot I only steal nodes on my male one."

The only thing I notice about people who steal nodes is that they usually name their characters something stupid or edgy (or both).
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I have noticed a SLIGHT gender bias in that when I am playing a cute female character I note a slight increase on overtly friendly/gentlemanly acts on the part of some peeps.... tends to be male characters ... no idea what player gender is

OTOH there is also an increase in ..... jerky sexist insulting behavior by male characters who I suspect may be played by younger male persons (but I could be wrong about that). Part of what fuels my suspicion is when I have got a particularly dorky/sexist/insulting remark in chat, my husband has been known to sigh and comment that he was like that in early adolescence and he encourages me not to take it seriously. Which is good advice in general.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Its a fact that in gaming, sexism exists to some degree. There's nothing wrong with discussing this from all points of view. If this was biased I would not have considered it from both sides, or that there may be no correlation. I had hoped for a mature discussion. Guess I was wrong. Sociology is fascinating to me and I genuinely wanted to see all sides.
