Why is it that just before I kill something, just before the last strike that kills my target, the game freezes for a second? It is very disruptive.

Is this by design? Is this A Good Thing?

I used to have this issue on my all-in-one Sony VAIO touchscreen system which is not appropriate for gaming in the least. It could be that your system just cannot handle the game requirements?

It used to handle it just fine. My rig was pretty close to top-of-the-line a couple years ago. Has the game requirements changed so much since then?

I can confirm that this also happens on ps4, I don't know what causes it, but its very bad if you are in a fight with lots of adds and players dying left and right, especially bad if it happens in vmsa
