AOE Spam in Common Areas (Mournhold Traders Area)

Is there ANYTHING ZOS can do to limit the amount of AOE spam that goes on in Mournhold? Entire guilds are getting together to spam AOE's and keep people from loading and shopping. It's ridiculous.

I can barely load in and I have a good PC. It's just these people sit there and shake my screen and spam it with massive and constant AOE's. The particles load before anything else does!

sadly this has been an issue since launch. people love spamming aoes. as a RP i find it especially irritating. be it for the fps tank when multiple are spamming or when they cast a speed boost on us causing us to draw our weapons for some unknown reason.

Going to the Mournhold Wayshrine is complete chaos and irritating. It's like Davon's Watch, but on a much worse scale. I don't know what goes through people's heads to make them congregate at the Wayshrine and just spam abilities. Does it make them feel better? Do they think they're getting something out of it? Do they think they're earning brownie points with other players? I have absolutely no clue as to their reasoning, so in the end I try to get whatever I'm doing done as quickly as possible and then fast travel my butt back into the field without delay.

Same issue here I think it was the reason why a few days ago I crashed every time I tried to get to deshaan to pick up dailies. perhaps make it so when you are in town you can't use AOEs unless you are in combat.

It is really annoying. I stopped going to Mournhold completely on my EP character, and will now only go to the Cadwell's Gold version on my templar to avoid the nonsense.

why not make every players being silence and unable to cast spell in town or just have their account banned if anyone casts the spell ?

i never had such issues , get a better hardware or buy an upgraded iMac instead

They should limit it to ONLY if you're in combat with hostiles. It's ridiculous how long it takes to load due to them. Your lack of empathy is clearly there; I have an Alienware laptop that runs every game smoothly. It's just it takes ages to load people in when they're spamming.
