Champion point system

So I know that after the Dark Brotherhood update V16 will be CP160 however I'm not V16 yet and probably won't be by the time it comes out although I have 200+ Champion Points already and was wondering what would happen about that I mean would I be classed as max level even though I never got to V16 and would my other character be classed as max even if they're not level 50 since the CP are shared between characters?

I understand the conversion just confused on what happens to the Armour, like a level 1 wearing CP160 gear?
Sorry if this has already been asked, I couldn't find it.

The way I understood it was once you get to level 50 then your armor/weapons will scale off CPs.

Up to 50, your level matters, after 50 your CP count matters.

Whatever the highest character is will recieve 10x its number in CP.

    So if you have 3x vet 4 and 1x Vet 13 = 130 CP.
All of you characters will automatcially get 130CP as CS is account wide.
So any vet character will be able to wear any of your current armour.

    As you already have 200CP.
No armour will be rated at anymore than 160CP.
So any of your vet charcters can wear any current armour anyway.

I thought it was 2.5 CPs per VR of your highest ranked character. So a maximum of 40 CPs for a VR16.

If it's as you say, I'll be disappointed going from nowhere near the cap to capped out until they raise the cap twice.

Well I could just be a confused old fart.
Wouldnt be the first time ;)

If you were V13 with v13 gear.
    That gear would become CS130

If you only had 50 CP. There is no way you would be able to wear the gear you owned.
So at a minimum you have to have the same amount of CP as the gear that was converted.
The easiest way to do that is to give you the CP required to wear the gear by your highest character

People levelling from 1-50 would be 16 points short of vets...permanently.
So they added a boost system into the 1-50

I cant help but chuckle at ZoS' cleverness with the VR to CP conversion. Take the 0 off the end of CP120 or CP140 and you have VR12 or VR14.

I don't wonder at all. The fact that mobs will have CP ratings and we'll have diminishing returns on XP when we're overleveled in Vet zones means that CP = VR (that happens to be account-wide).
