That would depend on how suspicious your "perfectly innocent" transaction looked...like if you bought 200 of whatever for 1 gold or something like 50 times before server went down in last few minutes...

No in honesty nothing will happen. I even doubt that anything will happen to the people that exploit that.

Probaly the opposite, people who find exploiters will get banned for "naming and shaming" while they get away with all their gold mats.

I doubt that they will ban anyone or at least perma ban anyone since this wasn't a hack etc, i am sure more then a few normally upstanding players got carried away and farmed more then they should have, its human nature, plus they dont want to lose paying customers or potential paying customers

They should be able to track most of the offending mats/gold and adjust accounts accordingly.

Further on they will get an job offer from zenimax for being so brilliant, to find more in the game then Zenimax intended to put up and lifetime-free-esoplus membership

everytime I reported farmers etc they always were back after max. 2 weeks, so what is all the fuss about??

Yeah, new achievement unlocked: Expert Exploiter - you exploited so hard and forced ZOS to put servers offline for a hotfix maintenance.

This achievement unlocks the "R.I.P. Account" achievement.
