Where are the Dolmens? (Lore Question)

From a lore POV, why there is no Dolmens in Hew's Bane or the Gold Coast? I thought in lore, Molag Bal is trying to drop everywhere via the Worm Cult. Why is there none in the new DLCs?

There is one in Wrothgar, however. The Orcs had destroyed almost all of them but one and it is not finished yet. From a lore POV, it does not make sense there is none in the new DLCs...

Any ideas on why?

In Wrothgar they are in the process of building them. So Im assuming that timeline wise this means Wrothgar technically takes place before the events in Imperial City. Its possible an Anchor wasnt needed for Hews Bane and that it would simply be pulled into Coldharbor with the rest of Nirn/Tamriel.

Ok so here's my take on things:

The Worm Cult built the Dolmens in the alliance zones at the behest of Mannimarco who at the time worked for Molag Bal, despite his secret plan. Even after Mannimarco was gone and the planemeld was ended The Worm Cult continued its activities in the hopes of getting in good with Molag Bal, hence the dolmen in Wrothgar. The one in Craglorn was no doubt abandoned by The Worm Cult once all that mess with the "constellations" began so that ended up a failed attempt for the planemeld. The one in Wrothgar is still a work in progress so it couldn't hold an anchor yet anyway. Even if both Craglorn and Wrothgar's dolmens could bring forth an anchor it wouldn't because by the time The Worm Cult can get to the one in Craglorn or finish the one in Wrothgar the planemeld is already foiled, so no anchors would come.

In other words, the Hew's Bane and Gold Coast DLC came after the IC DLC in the lore timeline? (aka the Planemeld already had fail)

Don't mean to contradict you or anything but in Wrothgar you meet characters related to the main questline of almost each faction so it can't be before the events of Imperial City. Maybe in Wrothgar they just didn't finish the dolmens before the Soulburst could happen and are still working on them...

They've been destroyed. Canonically I think Wrothgar is after Imperial City, and so the planemeld is over.

And at the end of the Wrothgar storyline (if you've completed the main quest) you get a warning about something else stirring.

Well, there is one in Wrothgar, of sorts. It even spawns a General each time it is activated by combating the cultists. We just don't get to hear Molags Mutterings and Musings while it is going on.

The ones for Hews Bane could be in Hammerfell as Hew's Bane is just a Peninsula of that region.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

There could conceivably be a few defunct ones, but as UltimaJoe said, they wouldn't be active as the Planemeld is over.
