I was looking through some of the cards from Elder Scrolls Legends and noticed there are some ESO assets in ESL. This really solidifies ESO's status as a canon Elder Scrolls lore.

I think it's kind of like how you verify the accuracy of a historical event. The more verified sources for the event, the more likely it happened!

I am not saying ESO is not official lore these days but a side game that includes minor aspects of another game that is debated about is far from "Solidified". That would be a little too "meta" for my tastes, playing a card game in ESO about elder scrolls is kinda 4th wall breaking. Like Deadpool owning an action figure of Deadpool.

Why not, guar and senche are not something that's made up specifically for ESO. In fact it's kinda lore breaking there weren't any guar and senche in other games. They are a big part of racial identity in Tamriel. For example - you would never find a Dunmer on a horse, like ever - they only ride guar, and usually use horses for meat. SWG kinda had something similar to this. You didn't need to walk into a cantina or any thing, but you could play the card game while you where in game.#SavePlayer10 -

Not strictly speaking true. In Morrowind we had guar pack mules and even rat mules to carry things. And as mentioned horses in morrowind were eaten as meat!

ESO is a prequel and a lot of Legends material wouldn't make sense to be included like it would in a forward-continuity game like Hearthstone/Warcraft.
