Something that's unfortunately missing from the PTS Patch Notes

"The Jubilee Cake was a great success, so we are bringing it back. It will be available every single weekend from now on." - What's MISSING from the patch notes.
ZOS please, peoples overall quality of life increases exponentially with the amount of Jubilee Cake that is available.
I gained 35 levels with only slight effort while I had that cake, it was amazing. From level 7 to 42 in what felt like an instant. After that though, the magic was gone, the cake was a lie and all that. It's hard to go back, you know, you've had it so nice and comfortable for a while, and then that little piece of paradise is taken away from you. When I level these days all I can think of is getting my hands on some more of that cake. I might need an intervention, should I join Jubilee Addicts Anonymous? Probably.

At least I hope that we can reach some sort of middle-ground, maybe every Sunday can be Cake Appreciation Day? Or every other Sunday?
The cash-shop scroll just doesn't compare to the Jubilee Cake, it feels so mediocre by comparison, it will never be shiny and chrome. I guess it's true what they say, once you've had cake you'll never not bake.

If they bring it back so often, it stops being special :T
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

SW:TOR does it fairly well. Haven't played it in a while, but every few months or so they'd have a double-XP weekend. Certainly perked the community up during these weeks.

Well what if the cake exp was sold in the crown store?
Works just like the existing exp scroll but more exp. and diff price.
Then add in the game with DB alchemy updates a newer exp potion too

    Yes or no?

Dont think more xp buffs are necessary.

Anyway, I think is the first step to sell level 50 chars in the shop. It will happen sooner or later. Is normal in this mmo moneymaker world. I told this almost 2 years ago.
    In the end,its business.

I wouldn't mind a *monthly* event like this. Whether it's a weekend per month of increased exp, or a weekend per month of increased gold drops, or a weekend per month of increased loot quality, or a weekend per month of decreased vendor prices, or a weekend per month of increased refining rates, or one weekend per month of increased inspiration...one weekend a month of SOMETHING would be nice to break up the long stretches between big DLC rollouts.

Madness? Nay, this is brilliance. You'd be surprised how often those two coincide.

In all seriousness this is probably the most sensible thing to do. One can always get more money, it's getting more time that's hard.

Ah, the Argonian wants more Disease/Poison damage in the game. What a surprise, it's almost as if you have a passive resistance to it or something.
Can I have my birthday every weekend, too?
I don't know about that, but you should be able to eat cake whenever you want to.

I got a good laugh out of this lol

While that wasn't my intent, it's not like Power Extraction doesn't need the change. Every other Stamina based attack as well as several Ultimates are getting converted into Physical/Poison/Disease damage, I just thought Power Extraction should get the same treatment.

My own resistances to said damage play no part in my decision...

On a more serious note: Yes, cake every weekend would be too much, that's the joke. But I didn't joke about how much I appreciated the ease of leveling with cake, which is why I would really like to see it again, and more than once a year. Yeah, I get that it's the cake celebrating the anniversary, but what's important to me is it's effects. Not only did it increase EXP gain by 100%, but it also raised some EXP cap as well, and it stacked with other similar buffs.

If they could introduce a consumable that increased EXP by 100% and raised the cap (similar to cake) but that didn't stack with other buffs, or maybe just not with scrolls, then I'd be happy with that. It's just that the 50% scroll feels unsatisfactory now that I know what 100% is like.

In short: ZOS please give us a Scroll of Greater Experience and add it to the store. One can always get more money, but they'd be hard pressed to get more time.

Smaller portions of cake are available in the crown store. While not as juicy as the jubilee cake the normal store XP boost is still sweet at 50% buff.

And you can use them all the time.
