"Thank You" Quick Chat Bubble.

Okay, so I know manners are sooo last generation, but I was wondering whether or not others would like to see "Thank You" put up in the list of quick chat emotes.

This could be used in a variety of situations. Here are a few:

- When no one else in your group has a mic and someone res's you: "Thank you!"
- When your tank in group actually tanks: "Thank you!"
- When your healer does an awesome job at healing: "Thank you"
- After a face to face trade: "Merci"
- When a random player confesses their undying love for you with a redguard twerk .... "ummm, thanks, I guess"

For now I'll continue to Blow Kisses in replacement of the sorely oversighted addition to quick chat without too many people running for the hills or getting the wrong idea and hope that this is implemented in the future.

Thank You!

Ps: Yes there is a Thanks and Thank You available in the Cheers and Jeers section but the emote barely reflects the means including the fact it's not very noticeable. (disclaimer added because: ESO forums).

Why not to let us make them ourselves. Also please, double the amount of quick chat.

I think we all know what that will lead to. Misuse.

Quick chat is absent of a lot of normal emotes.

As well as having them in a menu doesn't really work well.
Just let ppl hold the emote wheel to prompt it and have a drop down of all quick chat emotes so it's donewithout going in menus.

I can't remember if Thank You was in closed beta on console and later removed but it seems like thank you is an emote but maybe just no text

Until they come up with something like this, if they do, which they should, Jumping is kind of the universal thank you that people use. Its quick and easy and lets people get on with things.

I did not understand it at first seeing people jump after I helped with a mob or we ad hoc'd a dungeon. But I saw a post about this a while back and understood. Now I jump when appropriate (and I have an addon that allows me to build a quick list of any emote in the game). I appreciate it now when I see someone jump after a fight. I tried using the other emotes, but it seems that they can get lost in all the activity on the screen. Which is why a bubble that says thank you might be nice to have.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

I usually jump to express that I'm ready to fight after a break haha. So I'm sure it's different in different circles. For the most part I use the "Good job, everyone". But for now I think that if a Dev saw this they'd be like, wow, how did we miss that? It looks more like oversight than purposeful.

Thank you along with many more should never been excluded. Also NBS's idea about including all emotes in the radial menu is a very good idea because most people currently only use the few that are available in their radial.. which is a small percentage of total available emotes/quick chat options

We need it anyway, no way one can start typing in the middle of IC-run for example, I want "Follow" "Enemy" "No good"at least. Didnt Zen say, they add what community wants, what happened to that.

Yeh I think it'd be good. Also, for the Xbox chatting- Neverwinter did it perfect. You can manually chat (takes ages on Xbone), or if you have a smartphone you can use Xbox Smartglass to just type off your phone (awesome). And the chat saves everything you've typed, so when dungeon grinding and you say the same things, it's extremely easy.

For eg, when I log in (to make things easier for me) I type in /s things like:
    "hey folks"
    "thanks for the run!"
    "bye"
    "got aggro" and/or "heal!"

So all you had to do was press UP on the D-Pad 1-4 times and voila, you've got all the things you need to say 2 clicks away.

They definately dropped that commitment to adding more radial text chat options.
I get the addition of text chat but that doesn't address this topic at all.

    -Thank you
    -Please wait
-AFK (or "Busy" with an animation that literally has an audible sound like uhmm...hmmm...uhmm) when you hit a menu so ppl know you're not able to play. They current animation does not suggest you're away, it makes it seem like you're on a map or just in inventory but an emote would specify otherwise so ppl know.
-AFK2 (maybe a small outhouse box that pops up and player goes in and shuts door)

-DC'ed animation that auto emotes "large Ethernet plug icon over head glowing red"
-please invite me (remove would you like to group)
    -join me/us (see above)
    -

Some of this may sound like I'm being over the top but DB is adding a lot of player animations so this stuff adds value to both PC and console.
