Can We Please Get Non-Sorc Pets

It's more than a little silly that the only combat pets in the game are sorcerer pets, and those are magika dependent.

I'd like to see a stamina pet. And I'd like to see Flame Atronach pet too.

You could do both by adding a pet ability to Fighters Guild/Mage Guild lines

1. Fighters Guild: Add a dog/wolf pet, that scales off of stamina.
2. Mages Guild: Add a Flame Atronach pet, that scales off of magika.

pets, should be the benefit of one class, sneakyness another, power heals another, and tankiness fouth.

Tho i can admit, sorcs have wee bit too much, but catch my mind, pets belong to one class only

+++ there is sets that when they proc summon something to help you.

And you have spiders from undaunted.

All classes can sneak. All classes have heals to one extent or another (more so with resto staff), All classes can tank.

Stupid that only one class has real pets.

Undaunted spiders are synergy dependent (so useless solo).

I agree with sorc. pets having a mag and stam morph, totally seems reasonable.

As far as other classes having pets, no thanks. (although a temp pet for vampires is a novel idea - but it would have to be slotted and only situational).

It would be amazing if there were alternative pet options - something that didn't diminish what sorcerers have but also gave the rest of us access to them. I keep trying to find a way to enjoy the nightblades two shades; they are a cool concept but they don't really fit with any build well. Stamina characters are particularly disadvantaged, so I have to wonder if anyone ever used the armor of the hunt that came with Orsinium?

A cool option coming with the dark brotherhood is the werewolf pack leader having two permanent pets - if combined with the maw of the infernal monster set and a crafted set of morkuldin, then the werewolf could have two wolves, a daedroth and a bound sword all charging along... and they will all benefit from champion points boosting physical damage... I would love to see it, but I can't imagine it will be competitive in any kind of combat.

Anyway, I like the OP suggestion for another world skill line giving a pet, but I can't imagine that will happen either.

Ok, as long as sorcerers get a major ability from each of the other classes...

    DUH.
What's that got to do with it?
The OP has a point. Battle pets would be welcome ingame other than just the sorc pets.
Where in Skyrim did all classes get battle pets?
    (mods dont count)

i think a extra atronach is fine, fire as the base, then changes to a more powerful fire or frost as a morph. one is a tank morph and one is a dps morph

it being on the mages guild line sounds fine, seems like something every mage should know

it think its perfectly reasonable, and yes, some sorcerers would proabably role with all three out, but i think thats fine, gives a small buff to pet builds in my opinion, one that is desperately needed for those of us who love pet builds

edit: i think the adding a summon familiar, to summon a spectral wolf, is not a bad idea for the fighters guild, should still consume magicka, but scale off stamina, keep it in line with lore a bit

Technically, they're not "pets", they're magical beasts summoned to fight, and die if need be.... Would you really want your cute little furry puppy friend to go up against an Ogre and get slaughtered, think of all the crying children for heavens sake! ;)

Technically you get "pets" if you go with the Alpha Werewolf morph when the patch hits.

Two dire wolves spawn as soon as you transform which I guess'll scale off stam...that respawn pretty fast when they die too.

I'd like my own summoned Khajit pet.

You can summon this one implicitly....

Ooh, the idea of having pets for other classes sounds great :))
