So the base update before the DLC (dark brotherhood) is generally nerfing everything? I mean HP/SP/MP and CP and DPS (healing/damage) because their removing veteran ranks? Or am I assuming it wrong?

your stats will be the same since you will have the same skill points (assuming attributes as well) and the gear will be the same just based on cp not vet levels.2
