So i found out that when curse is applied and then you switch weapon once or twice, the explosion does not hit after 6 seconds. Instead it hits after 20 seconds.
Here are some videos that show this with players and entities. I recorded them in PTS (poeple don't instantly try to kill you) but I know I also have the same problem in LIVE. I tested it several times, and other sorcerers seem to have this same problem.
