Giving us advance access to Crown Store Character slot purchases.

Like open them up for sale Thursday for ESO+.

Surely that code is done so you can focus on the hoard or gameplay playtest issues.

Let me give you more money sooner.

Thank you.

First idea on ESO suggested change that I 100% agree with. Heck...even throw in early DLC access. but dont lock out those who buy 1500 or more crown packs.

I subbed to TERA so I could TP around the map easier. Drop TP fees for ESO+ members? It's a relatively harmless perk since you can TP to Friends/ Guild Members for free already.

Either way, OP, I like the idea. I can understand why it won't happen, but I like the idea nonetheless.

Agree with this idea :)) Would be nice for ESO+ subscribers to receive early access to things :)) Nice incentive :))

I dont get it. What's so important about getting character slots before anyone else??
Just because I sub doesnt mean I should get anything before those who dont sub.
That's kinda selfish and has no point to it.

@Volkodav An incentive for paying for the game monthly :)) That's just my thoughts in it. I don't think anyone will be at a great disadvantage besides being late to the party.

It does sound selfish but if you compare it to the other games' models like SWTOR's subscription, I don't think it's really a very big deal :))

Additional note, could increase subscriber count in light of the incentive of early access :))

Yeah, but the furor it would create among the forum members would go through the roof! XD
Whenever us subbers are given anything, much less given it early, the forums just go insane.

There wouldn't be any such thing as "early" DLC access. Only "needlessly delayed" DLC access for everyone else. You have crafting bags now, that's more than enough.

The reason I think char slots are different is they don't give out anything new or delay others.

If we got dlc early we would have quicker access to farm mats, poisons, setS which impact play, competitive play.

This does not do that. No appreciable diff btwn me having 8 or 9 as far as it impacting others.

So the lesson here is: don't let the reactions of a few forum posters affect what you do in-game or out.

Personally, I don't give a flying fig if you subbers get a crafting bag of not. Whatever floats your boat.

As previously mentioned, the introduction of ANYTHING to an ESO+ account will be met with a HUGE forum uproar as well constant screams of Pay-to-win.

Which I find kind of ironic because without an incentive to pay, people would often not pay. I am curious what incentive would not be deemed P2W while also drawing members, yet I digress.

Returning to the topic on hand. On the forums is a 20+ page of outrage and rebuttal about crafting bags alone, so I am curious if ZOS would integrate anymore benefits for the time being, but frankly I would doubt it!

Sadly, the term "Pay-to-win" has been distorted so much over time that it now basically means "Anything that I don't have, but you do"

Really, unless it's something like an exclusive costume, I foresee any extra incentive to sub as being misconstrued as "Pay-to-win" by the vocal minority.

ZOS should just shrug their shoulders, pick something, and damn the consequences.

Early access is okay in a well-oiled smaller game with rapid and guaranteed weekly updates. But when a game starts falling apart and updates get farther and farther apart, it can definitely divide and destroy a community faster than one where early access was never a perk.

I'd rather not start down that road. Everyone who owns the game should have the same basic access to features regardless of how many optional purchases you've made.
