Question from a noob about vampires: Feeding is bad?????

So, what I unsterstood from posts, not feeding at all seems to be the best thing.
From a logical PoV I keep may main, a Khaj Vampire summoner well fed, but this would make him much less powerful?

Am I right here?

If so, should I just stop feeding at all?
It's not that I'm dying from it...

It works kind of backwards to most traditional vampire mythology (a fair amount of Elder Scrolls lore tends to either turn on its head or at least mess with traditional fantasy stuff in some way). Your vampire skills get stronger if you don't feed. Vulnerability to fire is an issue though, which is why some vampire players prefer to feed occasionally.

Well, see, which are those, I mean, I am, as said, a newbie.

Safe for abilities more expensive, there's no difference?
    Or...?

Is it? Guess I remembered wrong then lol netch poot fumes cause confusion D:

Either way I invest all my Warrior CPs into Elemental Defender on my Vamp so most of his weakness is covered until I get that to 100 in which all of it will. Then I plan to put Flame Resistance enchantments on his jewelry for even more coverage. No worries about Flame Damage here B)

Health Recovery drop is another story though... As a result I try to stay at Stage 1, at least until my Vampire grows more to get the remaining passives, including the 1 that helps with that.

So, basically, it does not make a difference?
    Save for skill/ability cost?

The only difference is the revamped timer and the weakened fire weakness on states 1-3. So yes, no real difference.

    It may be a difference is the fire weakness has been increased : stage 1 :0%, stage 2 : 10%, stage 3 : 25% and stage 4 : 50%. Here, you'll have a far more tactical game.
