King Kurog unkillable

During the Blood on a kings hands quest, I get to the part where I battle king Kurog. He has only 1 HP, and when hit, it shows him as dead but is clearly alive. I am unable to beat him, and also I do not take any damage either.

I have tried battling for a bit just in case of a ui bug, but it seems neither of us take any damage whatsoever. I tried looking for any quest item or anything I'm missing, but after watching a youtube video, it doesn't seem like I'm missing anything.

    yes, sorry for the late response, I dropped the quest, re did it, and it worked fine
