What feature of ESO is your favorite?

I've seen a lot of negativity and whining on this forum. I understand there is a lot of demand and expectation for the new DLC, but we still have an amazing game that won best MMO.

What are your favorite features of the game that you enjoy? What do you feel ZOS did a good job at that makes you want to continue playing the game?

My favorite is the snippets of humor mixed into a lot of the questing. One of my favorites was an NPC in Daggerfall; if you changed the events in the past, that NPC became a woman when you came back to the future. I'm a HUGE fan of Sheogorath in every Elder Scrolls game - who can forget the cheese? And the insults and teasing the Thieves Guild Members toss at each other are really amusing.

@Lenikus Have you ever watched the Youtuber Scatsbury? He is amazing. He does these hilarious Skyrim Randomness videos. He's the king of teabagging. You may enjoy that.

I admit, sometimes I teabag them too...)

    scenery,combat(when it works),spell animations,these are the generalities.
    some specifics that floored me:
first time i did a trial, hel ra to be exact, even though its not being updated with DB. just the design and being part of a large group. then id have to say first time taking a keep in cyrodiil, with siege, and *** flying through air. i like it when things are epic and legendary. the last quest in cold harbour with both guilds and meridia squared for battle against molag bal. riding across the plains of cyrodiil with 20+ people. overall its a good game, when lag doesnt prevail.

I'd like to believe that the other faction is scared of me, but in reality they're probably more like "F**k this guy."

@Mojmir Yes! They did so well with Coldharbour. It felt like a really epic quest and battle. You could see your efforts to strengthen the war effort come to furition! I loved making the city bigger and better with every quest. Definitely my favorite quest area. <3 Cadwell!

My favorite features in the game? Well.....

    + The Story

When I first bought Elder Scrolls Online a month ago (It was on sale and I was curious), I really had low expectations for the stories in the game - the side quests, the alliance quests, the main story, etc. Anyways, I started up the game, made my Nightblade Breton in DC and started playing.

I was surprised by the amount of lore and dialogue this game gives off and despite what others might think, I found the storylines to be rather riveting. In summary, I found the main storyline to be pretty cool with you being a soulless one destined to fight the Deadric Prince of Enslavement & Domination - with the legendary Five Companions. Then, the alliance questlines are by far my favorite type of quests to tackle with Rivenspire being my number 1 - having to deal with family and curses. Overall, I enjoyed the storylines ESO gave. It gave me the feeling of grandness and adventure that no other MMOs I've played gave (And I played and sank in hundreds of hours in WoW, GW2, SWTOR, LotRO, DDO, etc.).

On an additional note, the characters in the game are also interesting and memorable (I was pleasantly surprised) with my favorite characters being Darien Gautier, High King Emeric and Verandis Ravenwatch!

    + The Exploration

The exploration in this game is the best I've seen in an MMO bar none. Mi Casa Su Casa, I felt right at home in this game. I could literally pick a direction and go there to discover new places where I felt like I actually lived in Tamriel. Hundreds of places to discover, hundreds of stories to read, and hundreds of legends to uncover. If people asked me if this game is good for explorers and adventurers? I'd say yes with no hesitation.

On an additional note, I really loved exploring the Alik'r desert. Love how vast and beautiful the dunes are - especially at night!

    + The Crafting

I find the crafting in this game to be very intuitive and in-depth as I was given the tools to create any form and style I want. Do I want a helmet that's made of Dwarven steel and enhanced with a Mundus trait? Do I then want to make that helmet look Deadric? Or do I want it to look Nordic? The choice given to me in this game is amazing! I have sank hours in the crafting system in this game because of how fun creating things is.

    + The Player versus Player

Of course, one of the highlights of the game when I first heard of it years ago was its PvP. Well, I can only say that it's a damn shame I didn't get this game sooner for the PvP.

    + Conclusion

Can't believe this started to look like a review but those were my honest thoughts with the game and what I felt to be my favorite features of the game so far. I still do think the game has issues every now and then - with the points I listed above such as a few bland and uninspired quests - but I have high hopes that Zenimax can improve on it.

I love how when there is a massive fight going on in Cyrodiil the game will slow down so you can see all of the stuff going on.
Wake up, we're here. Why are you shaking? Are you ok? Wake up...
