Veteran Ran Removal - CP Cap Raised?

Does anybody know if the removal of VR will come in conjunction with a rise in the CP Cap?

I've heard rumours but nothing official.

Suppose I could just wait for the Natch Potes in the afternoon but where's the fun in that....?

Afaik the cap will be raised by 51cp and everybody will be rewarded 40cp when hitting level 50 (if you're already lvl50+ you get 40cp right away)

Last I heard ppl hadn't gained a lot so take that with a grain of salt....as I'm not sure if this is all platforms or just one.

I do hope that if it's raised, it's more than 51 points because so far it would seem like nothing for those to gain who are at 501 for another 100 days or so
