I have been playing this game since Beta on Windows Vista, and now you are telling me the game no longer supports it are you seriously trying to force people to have to upgrade working among Microsoft to do this?
Like honestly there is no reason a small patch can't be put into the game to fix the error message, (The game clearly isn't API EXCLUSIVE) to windows 7 and above like (THE DIVISION) and players have been able to play the game for a long time on XP / VISTA until (Thieves Guild) update which killed off the game for quite a few players who enjoyed the game..
The Requirement Was said DX11 was needed due to new graphics ( I have DX11) installed on Vista 64...
Now support tells me (We don't support Windows Vista?

If the game didn't support (Windows VIsta) in anyway the game wouldn't have Let me install the software in the first place, or would have not even launched and would have crashed on launch, this is not the case.
Oh well im not in a hurry to buy windows 7 to play this game anyways ill go play Crow Fall which works on Windows Vista.

The problem is the update screwed something up, and now support telling me that they don't support Vista 64 at all?
I call bs because if the game didn't support vista it wouldn't even launch, the problem is something they changed broke the game on older systems and they fail to fix it and just tell people to update their OS.0 -

What video card is it? The error you are seeing is saying your video card is not compatible. The game runs fine on vista. They changed the DX requirements with TG which is why I still believe your card does not support dx11.Edited by jamesharv2005ub17_ESO on April 24, 2016 12:02PM1 -

xXAiroXxSoul ShrivenSo let it be thrown in , I have a GeForce Gt630 that supports DX11 , Windows 10, and me also this game is not working ... and carbon that previously owned the graphics card Gt9600 he told me to change to a newer supports DX 11 , I changed to GeForce 550Ti which was to support DX 11 and also did not work .... so now you tell me that my computer is bad ?? so far none of the board of this game could not give official requirements portals where you can buy the game even at Nvidia are given the old requirements , and to Windows Vista is the operating system supports DX11 . We openly cheated and I think we are a lot more of what they have such problems .

Used Vista since the game came out game launches but (Unable to initialize render device)
