I listen to music or podcasts instead of ESO unless I am guild PvPing (I keep the town gangster rappers or crying babies from the area chat on mute.) The 20 dollar standard PS4 headset hasn't let me down yet.

Just don't use those iPod/iPhone headsets.

Super annoying beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep every time you speak.

Also, the single earpiece that comes with the PS4 is actually great. The microphone quality is so good. It tops my crappy $60 mic.

ok cool so i'll probably just throw down for the 20 headset yeah my cockatoo ate my headset that came with my ps4 darn him lol i'm new to playing on ps4 pc crashed so for my ffxiv or eso i am now on the ps4 and i enjoy it better for both who knew could of been more usefull then a hulu machine XD also if anyone happens to wana add me my psn is suju1991

The ps4 gold elites are nice. You will use it if you pvp. And they sound great with spotify

THIS!! My dog tore mine up and bought an $80 wireless headset, excited to finally "upgrade" lol. Boy do I miss my original ps4 earpiece...

Just bought a nice PS4 headset yesterday. It's amazing!!!' I used to turn down the volume to around 50% but keep Music/Ambience on 100%. I could still barely hear ambience. Headsets let you hear everythig perfectly!

Get a sony one or spend the money on a decent one, the sound quality of others can be greatly effected by one person with a crappy mic, don't be that guy who gets muted/blocked alot for giving others headaches

I use my standard ps4 mic and it works great. I love the area chat in this game, I played FF14 for a bit and drove me nuts I had to type everything smh. Getting a mic is pretty important in this game and hate players who invite me to groups and trades and not communicate with me.

i'll get the mic i had my eyes on and test it with a few friends if it sucks i'll give it to my fiance for her video chats she does with her dad or whatever and i'll just get a better one on the 8th i'm new like a few days in so i can solo alot till like next pay day

i got a cheaper headset for now lol had to be responsible my baby needs some new summer clothes so i think the one i got works ok sent a practice msg to a friend and he said i sounded good thanks for all the help everyone ^.^
