~In memory of the best glitch in ESO~ Sadly the "Get out of Map" glitch in the Rift has been patched

I will never forget the many memories I had with friends, heading to the Rift vampire shrine. Platforming up those rocks and getting out of the map. T'was a harmless glitch, and players would do it for fun and the game wouldn't be affected at all. I remember me and my two friends exploring the white land, the checkered board area, and swimming across invisible space to an unloaded Stonefalls region.

It was a fun glitch that lasted for years, and has unwantedly been patched. It looks like the publicity of the glitch has caught the attention of ZOS and it has been patched. There are invisible walls surrounding the platforming rocks, and the glitch can no longer be done.

Rest in peace dear glitch, you shall be missed. Would anyone like to share memories they had with this fantastic glitch before it's uneventful end?

PS. It is odd that they had the time to patch that glitch (0 demand), but don't have the time to implement a barbershop/character customization and more important things in the game (high demand).

Not since TG patch, though it very hard to even get there.

The console crowd missed out I guess. This used to happen all the time. You'd just be riding your horse and then you'd slingshot into the air and out of the map. This bug was in the game for probably a good year.

There was actually a spot in Rawl'kha where you could ride your horse, jump into the roof covering the "shops" and it would fling you far beyond where the Hundings rage location was without dying.

I'm on PC and have been playing for 10 months, I've travelled and explored every corner of the zones, never once encountered a glitch like this. Which is kind of sad as I love glitches, especially ones involving areas you shouldn't be able to reach

I made a series on my youtube channel about exploring the hidden roads in ETS2, although they weren't really glitches, just secret roads you can't drive on without commands

I once got off the map above a waterfall, don't remember where exactly, it was either Craglorn or Bangkorai. Unfortunately I didn't explore further, thought it'd be just raw hills and dirt.

They patched this due to 'mmersion issues. If your characters were to go there your characters might start to wonder if the world was in fact a hologram or something and not real. Can't have that.

That is a shame.. Though luckily there are still other places open in other regions at least. I won't mention them by name in fear that ZoS will attempt to patch these awesome places out.

But keep exploring, I'm certain we can find another way out of The Rift! There are no strings on us!

There are ways out of just about every zone. On the topic of The Rift, well... you can still escape the bounds of the normal zones

I know a couple places to get off the map on PS4 but cannot say for sure if they've been patched yet as I'm not much on going too far off map lol
