Trading in Windhelm

So I have a trader in Windhelm and nothing except crafting mats seem to move. Anyone have any experience there at what usually moves? Not asking for pricing I can figure that out myself just asking what type of items usually move. I understand it is a level 36, VR4 and VR7 area so things should cater to those levels. I have tried blue foods, ambrosia sells occasionally as does laurels and other style mats.

On PC NA, I have a guild with a trader in Windhelm. It does quite well, but it's not a major trading hub, so most customers are passing through as they level. That means crafting mats and recipes and reasonably priced motifs are what moves. (Daedric and dwemer, yes; trinimac and malacath, no.) Also inspiration trait items and trash glyphs for decon.

On the other hand, I shop there often -- prices tend to be better than the big hubs but selection still good.

I haven't found foods to sell well anywhere. It's easy to level provisioning.

That is kinda what I was seeing, improvement materials, mats, recipes and a few armor pieces. I was trying to find an outlet for the massive number of fish trying to get roe, I have found in a few high traffic areas that purple foods sell and sometimes blue if cheap enough. But potions do better than provisioning stuff.

Based on what I sell and what my guilds sell, here is what moves, in no particular order except 1, which is what sells the most as you already know:

    1. Crafting Mats (any craft, any mat, Blue, Purple and Gold Tempers move the best, followed by Raw Mats, then the rest)
*lol, I was trying to insert a space and it kept incriminating the list in a weird way but the rest are in no particular order:
    5. Motifs if they are priced right
    6. Dropped Set gear items, if they are priced right
    7. Purple or Gold Glyphs will move
    8. Trait Research Items, looted or crafted, if priced right
    9. Set Jewelry, especially if both neck and rings are made
    10. Intricate Items for decon
    11. Recipes, except for the VR15 Greens, the game world is flooded with them, they drop like flies in fumigated barn so one needs to buy them. However, the L1 to L5 Recipe level Green, Blue and Purple recipes do move nicely.

Hmm, trait research. Sweet. Think I'll make it in tbs just to sweeten the deal.

Not much point - most people buy these items for research - it's the trait that matters and everything else is irrelevant.

So I crafted about every trait in TBS and listed them all. They seem to be moving pretty well so thanks for the advice. If you were on PS4 I would throw some gold your way.

You have to create the thread as a Question to be able to mark a post as an answer. Its in the same place you choose to make the thread a poll. Not sure if you can go back and edit that aspect or not.
