No option for duels with the next DLC?

Hey,

I am a bit confused. I remember that they have told about arenas/battleground and duels in december 2015 and while they said battlegrounds and arenas took a while, duels will be implemented earlier.

Me and many others thought this feature will come with the DB DLC but they didnt mention anything about it...

Does any1 know anything I did forget, wherer are our duels? @ZOS_GinaBruno

The next DLC looks great on paper, especially the option to capture districs in the IC, but the duels.. :(

Meanwhile Zenimax is laughing at this forum post i can tell, like they did at the PvP arena suggestions.

Need to get this outta the way first: the DB DLC and base game patch does look pretty darn cool. Big thumbs-up to ZOS on what they are planning for it.

With that said, I have been looking forward to dueling for a loooooong time, since I first stated playing about a year ago, and if you search these forums players were asking for dueling about two years ago when ESO went live. Word on the street is ZOS is planning something for dueling this year, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Something that has puzzled/worried me about a month after I started playing ESO is how ZOS responds to and gathers player feedback on the current and future state of the game. Thought about it a long time and decided to start a thread on it.

While the IC district capture feature in the DB DLC might be pretty cool, I wonder what process ZOS used to decide it was better to work on that first rather than get dueling implemented. As far as I know, there was no really strong effort from ZOS to engage as much of the PvP community as possible and ask them which would they prefer to see first...the IC district capture feature or dueling. It's this approach by ZOS to the future state of the game that concerns me...so on one hand I commend them on the DB DLC...but on the other hand I'd really like to see better player/developer interactions per that thread I wrote.
