It didn't. It's a UI bug so anyone who kills you whilst wearing it (even if it didn't go off) shows in your recap.

i got hit in the face by a stone treb lol and the person stood next to him killed me with VD even tho he didnt move as he was in his bag at the time

yeah everybody says that...look my health and damages i posted...and it was 1v1 ...i know what u mean but it is not like that....while 1v1... and as u see there isnt any other damage

The problem with death recap is that it's craptastic. It only records for a few seconds and then just processes the data in a lump and dumps it out. We can't tell anything from it. Even videos are misleading at times, but at least they are better than a recap.

So what happened? One shotted?

Death recap is crap. It's awful and provides a lot of misinformation.
Chances are, your health was simply desynced.

Do you have Engine Guardian on? Heard that it can proc off them when they "die".

OP, there's two possible explanations:
1. You were low on health and either evading attacks or fleeing for a short time before the heavy attack came, resulting in the other attacks before that not showing up in the recap (this happened me a few days ago, just one attack in my recap)

2. Again, it's a UI bug and it's not showing all previous attacks.

Did you actually see VD go off? I'm guessing not because this has been documented plenty of times: it's a UI bug.

A quick search is all you need to do:
"To clarify, this is a visual bug with death recap where it still counts the proc as a hit for death recap purposes even though you're already dead. The set is not actually dealing damage to the person who procs it before they die, sorry for the confusion."

This set kill me, when i was on another floor. This set is all buged.

On my death recap last night, It only listed Vicious Death. No other hits. But I wear it so I just laugh when I die by it.

It's a UI Bug get over it.

People will find any excuse when they die to why they died, instead of just accepting they either got outplayed or zerged..
