ESO = A game with no sustain.

Hello all,

Ive been playing ESO since Beta, and its pretty lame to see how the game quality has drop significatly.
Massive lag in PvP, random crashes to desktop, eternal loading screens, game stop working (ESO servers fail to connect).

Those problems seem to be getting "normal" for ZOS, used to be a problem of few people that had bad or unaccurate PC set up, internet connections... But now its everywere, and yet there no solution, not even a response from ZOS.

Im tired of just not been able to play the game im PAYING to play, beacuse of the incompetence and unwilling developers to solve a basic problem that should not even exist in any game, that is been unable to connect randomly beacuse ZOS servers cant hold out the amount of players that are playing at that specific time, so their system collapse trying to manage Lag kicking people of the game. When ever you try to recconect, the launcher got terribly slow, and get LONG loading screens if you manage to pass an unlimited random and different "error boxes" when loging in (Yep, the server does not respond).

Im sorry, but I play other Online games were i have NEVER ONCE getting kick out of the game or been unable to recconect. I know the issue its not on my end, beacuse i have tried every single solution it has been posted or given (which ZOS, didnt even answer to any tickets... mhm, real bad customer support right there), and beacuse other online game work perfectly fine (no lag, no crash).

I Just wont even write about all the unbalanced and broken crap that its out there and not getting fix... Whats the point? They cant even fix the most important thing => Good connection and no lag.

Now i have to wait randomly for couple days the servers actually get better. LOL

Stop making new mounts and customes and fix/improve your servers once and for all... Plenty of games out there with out this issue, yet you people keep failing (I wonder why ESO player population keeps dropping...)

    That's too bad.

I've never once experinced lag in ESO.

I've never been booted off the server.

I've never been able to not connect.

    Your mileage may vary.

Same here... i feel stupid now because i don't know if this is just whining or i've just been very lucky...

I have a feeling you are quite lucky. I've experienced all of these multiple times today ... Haven't been able to play today because of it.

Or the game runs so flawlessly, that you must be stupid and lying if you don't love it.

Well.. as far as i'm concerned i really didn't have any of the problems people says this game has... to a point i'd actually wish i would at least once so that i could actually understand what they're talking about :O

I didn't either until i made vet on several characters, played high population pvp, and started doing trials.

I have had small issues here and there. Not enough to get me to salt my popcorn though. If these are the issues people are complaining about, perhaps you need to get out more. Or play something 20+ years old. I grew up with those and can appreciate the improvement in overall quality and service.
I still have blisters from my old NES controller and Battletoads...

Except for cake night, never experienced lag and the only boot outs were connection issues on my end.

Then i guess since i connect via wireless in an home with at least another 2 internet connections and my comp specs are not high enough to run the game at max setting well... i'm really lucky ^^

Not sure if making fun of my internet or not :/. Tell your provider I said congratulations.

I too have had none of the above happen to me.I love this game and how it's going.I do,however, understand the frustrations of those who do PvP. THERE is where most of the problems are.
Since I dont PvP,my game is just fine, and I dont see it going downhill at all.

well honestly , i do experience crash and long loading screen, but that maybe because i use old 4 years gaming laptop, so the cause of error maybe on me, but other than that i never experience any issue with the game, except lag in cyrodiil trueflame server

note : yes, i',m on my way building a desktop right now lol

I play on Xbox eu and most of my gaming time was spent in pvp but once the lag started to get to me a decided to pve and do dungeons

But hey guess what pve is not right either I seem to spend more time in dungeons relogging after crashes or waiting for group members after they have crashed than I do fighting. oh and the lag is bad at times too although not as bad as pvp but still frustrating. Once performance hits main game I'm afraid more will follow

I've seen far too many friends leave this game due to performance balance bugs etc also the endgame content is a joke most v14 even pvp vendors v14 gear

Messages like that make me wonder if people are just playing the (mostly) problems-free part of the games(ergo, solo questing) or there is something on our end determining the problems. [snip]

Have you tried veteran PvP campaigns? Vet dungeons? Trials? Have you been to Rawl'Kha on AD side(at least on PC NA this ios guaranteed 5 fps and 500 people at primetime)?

I've crashed several times yesterday and had horrendous lag for most of the other time. Not THAT bad, still mainly playable but annoying.

I'm playing PC NA, OP, are you EU by chance? Seems that server has more issues(or perhaps just more load).

EDIT: I just dc'd in the middle of what would've otherwise been a nodeath vDSA run. Gg ZOS. (Yes, I am 300% sure it wasn't on my end)

I think what illustrates best the lack of end-game in ESO is how there aren't a lot of very comprehensive guides out there for builds and gear, and the lack of streamers.
To me it just reiterates that so many invested players have made an exodus, and the game caters to casual players- which doesn't make sense for a healthy MMO.

Ive been having a good amount of fun lately, but there's still that looming sense monotony, and Cyrodiil is already becoming stale again.

I'd love to get back into Trials as well, but even then there are so few of them - and with the imbalance in classes they seem so unapproachable. Nobody likes to take archers into trials- let alone Sorcerer or DK archers and it's been like that since I can remember. T_T

They have responded NUMEROUS times in threads, but apparently either you didn't want to check or are making a lot of assumptions without actually checking the forums. I'll direct your attention here, which is the latest response from ZOS. They are not going to comment in EVERY SINGLE THREAD, but if you check the 'Dev Tracker' you will find responses that they've made on various topics.

Their "answers" have always been : We are pushing small fixes and are looking for ways to fix the problems......""" soon"""" trademark... But nothing actually gets fixed, it just gets worse every patch.
