Weird bug with missing chest/crocs

Yesterday I found a buggy place with appearing and disappearing treasure chest with 2 hostile crocodiles.

Depending from my actual position on the ground (step right - step left) and range from chest, the chest/crocs appeared and disappeared.
When crocs fully appeared they were instantly hostile, when I made step left - they disappear (even if they already started to attack me).

I could repeat that forever. After few minutes I killed both crocs - sadly the chest could not be interacted and looted, no matter from what side I tried to reach it, it tend to disappear after I reached some fixed range.

What you've found is likely a break between the slices of the map that make up the world, sometimes they relate to zone phasing. Otherwise I think they're also there to help off load people to another instance of the zone. There are similar ones throughout the game. A friend of mine and I came across one near a lamp post in Auridon where if we passed it at a certain angle people would disappear from the screen. Given the proximity to the lamp post we since came to calling these areas pocket Narnias. You can walk back across the division to the other instance of the zone. Unfortunately things and creatures in the other slice will disappear since they won't exist in the other instance.

So do you mean that someone else could loot this advanced chest being on other instance, but not me?
