If you could tell your Day 1 Cyrodiil self something - what would it be?

Little background here. I'm mainly a PvE'er. I've been to Cyrodiil for the purpose of PvP'ing twice. Why am I here? Well I make really really beginner guides for folks about ESO. Generally I cover topics such as crafting but some topics just keep getting asked about a LOT. So I'm looking for some insight as to what I would include in a beginner's guide to Cyrodiil. I don't mean builds (To keep X on my bar) or anything like that. Just super basic stuff (that's my audience - absolutely brand new players). I know my way around Cyrodiil well enough since I've been there many times for PvE reasons, but am wondering what people generally find confusing at the beginning of the Cyrodiil/PvP experience.

Some topics I plan to include:
-How to enter a campaign
-How to LEAVE Cyrodiil
-Where to find starting quest
-Only siege works against keep walls
-Walls/door needs to be repaired
-Where to buy repair kits/siege
-Can PvP at level 10
-BRIEFLY explain battle levelling (not detailed - just pretty much explaining it happens)

All the things you mentioned are important, but i think as much important is one thing - your pve skills wont do you no good. Rethink all the skills you want to use. Focus on 1-2 spammable dps and 1 AoE skill, the rest of skill slots use for support healing stun/root skills.

My friends told me it was because I'm a templar... haha

Thank you! Mentioning that skills for PvE are not always as great in PvP is definitely something I should lightly touch on.

@MissBizz thats actually another thing. After *** easy PvE content it might be a shock but - you will die. You will die a lot even after quite some time in pvp land, not to mention when you start.

Awesome! Yes. I should also look into how home and guest campaigns are different. (I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but I would double check before I start spreading lies)

I can't remember her name any more, but I used to know the person that made the add-on with the ellipse-style damage #s, before it was cool and Atropos did it for FTC. Lul at the gchat halfway through complaining about how broken (actually broken, as in not working, and not broken as in prox-tether-vd) NBs were. Damage numbers were ticking in the hundreds, equilibrium was on people's bars ... god the nostalgia.

I'd tell myself I can't reflect siege with DragonFireScales.

Flappy wings means stop using ranged attacks.

It took six months before khajiit first figured out how the flappybats somehow managed to kill them with bows even when they were holding shields.

Either go reroll an elf and go magicka nightblade or reroll your redguard into a sorc or DK

Don't over-extend yourself/Don't chase an enemy too far away from a strategic strong point, or too close to a strong point of theirs.

I was and still am, a nasty ganker/burst DPS character in PVP.
