Is PS4 community dead?

Started playing on ps4 from PC. Still PC but just playing 1 character on ps4 with a friend. Went to all the guild traders in EP territory and theyre all pretty much dry. There is hardly anything for sale and if there is the prices are pretty high. Is there not many people on PS4 anymore? Or is there so many people playing everything is bought up in the guild traders? On PC guild traders are flooded with items for sale. Way opposite on PS4 kinda sucks.
