Put Ranks with option to Allow Members to WITHDRAW only a maximum amount of Items per Day.

For example

Rank 5 can Withdraw 5 Items, from the Guild Bank
Rank 4 can Withdraw 10 Items
Rank 3 can Withdraw 20 Items
Rank 2 can Withdraw 40 Items
Rank 1 can Withdraw Unlimited

Great idea. As rank 2 player I'll be able to take 40 jewelery pieces / legendary mats from the bank, but I can't get a single tomato if they are stacked higher than 40 pieces since you can't split stacks inside the guild bank.

If you want to limit bank access, a better solution would probably be to lable the items. Whenever you put something in the bank you can choose weather it should be labled as valuable or not and depending on their rights, some people would only be able to withdraw items labled as not valuable and others could withdraw everything. That way everyone would have access to stuff like crafting materials, or lower level items and you wouldn't use a single valuable item if someone robbs your bank.

This thread topic is good for once a month. Not sure if it would be feasible to add the options of inventory control to the Bank itself or to the guild tools section.

I don't know how practical any of those ideas are, it'd be nice to have some way to prevent it but unfortunately you can only rely on trust to decide who should have access, and sometimes learn the hard way that some people just can't be trusted. I don't personally understand how anyone could be that much of an ass to other people, I guess I just have too much integrity because intentionally screwing over other people like that is not something I'd ever even consider doing, video game or not.

It's a straight up *** move, and anyone guilty of it is a terrible person. Terrible people always have excuses for why it's okay to treat other people like that, but there is never any justification for such behavior, and the only reason is the callous indifference of pitiful, selfish people who care only for their own satisfaction and amusement. Anyone who's ever done this should be permabanned without exception, and good riddance.

What about setting the limits based on the item tiers? (So white-green-blue etc.) Even if not, anything more flexible than all-or-nothing permissions is bound to be more useful.

Our guild bank is only usable by a few of us, only people that are our friends and are trusted have access to it, I think that is probably the best way to ward against those who would steal from us

Players don't put their Items in the Guild Bank, because they are too Afraid that another Player might Steal them.

Players don't put their items in the guild bank so one other player can clean out everything and split.

One kind of doing it is IMO to carefully listen what people say and what they talk about. And if there is anything, what let's you think, that this person has a questionable moral, never give it access to anything. Especially not if they think, that something is ok to do, when it cannot be detected but is still illegal to do. That is the type of guys who are doing stuff like this. Or if they think it is ok to exploit bugs or even if they say, they would park in a special needs spot, even they are not sick at all. Those are people who break rules all the time, they cannot be trusted.

You do know that you as guild leader can trun off and on which rank in guild can remove thing from guild bank atm in our guild on guild leader and officer and most active member can remove thing so basically only 3 rank can do that so it is not that hard to manage it and if people dont like to bad from them.

He's talking about the amount of items a certain rank can withdraw. There's a difference from giving people access to withdraw where they can withdraw everything and giving access to people to withdraw a limited amount. Neverwinter had something like this whereas ESO does not. I think it's a good idea if ESO implemented this, but for now people have to make do with the game features over this and base it off of who you can trust more.

If you rob your guild's bank. You are a ***! If you are ZOS and you send out a form letter to people who report guild bank robbers telling them they can ignore annoying people, you are a bag of *** for not doing your job and actually reading the reports and responding with an email that make sense!

    What about adding separate vaults?

Say you have 3-4 different vaults, perhaps more can be unlocked with a larger sum of gold. Essentially individual inventory storages that you can name, and which lets you manage withdrawal rights for each vault.

    Example:

    Vault 1: Consumables
    - anyone can add/withdraw

    Vault 2: Crafting materials
    - only rank 2 and above can add/withdraw

Vault 3: Rare items / set pieces
    - only rank 4 and above can add/withdraw

    Vault 4: Event rewards
    - only rank 5 and above can add/withdraw

This way you can stow away more valuable stuff in a vault where only the higher (and thus hopefully more trusted) members can get to it, while unloading clutter items where it doesn't hurt too much if someone runs off with it.

Other than that, a bank log of every deposit and withdrawal, if not already in place, is somewhat of a must.

or just don't give the 1st rank guild withdrawel access, my guild has it on 4th rank, which will take you a while to get there, so i know if i can trust you or not, if they want something before that, i'll get it out for them

How to stop guild bank robbers.

    Step the first:

    Don't join/form any guilds.

Problem solved. It's worked fine for me so far.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.
