I don't play one, but it is obvious the devs avoid nerfing this class and buff it all the time. Shield stacking is still OP and now they have OP heals and high burst damage. No wonder AD is over populated....

If you think AD has all the Altmer you are mistaken. At least on the premise you have to be AD if you make an Altmer.

That IS my answer. Every class is the best at a certain aspect of the game and my preference in class changes depending what I'm doing in the game. Please be more specific with your question.

To me it is nightblade, because I like stealth gameplay - I would as well play it, if this class would suck though. So I refrained from voting.

Another poll which is far too vague.

Besides the fact, that this game is mostly based on builds and it's dependant ressource (stamina/magicka) and not classes, the TO didn't mention a field of application or role (tank, DD, healer, PvP, PvE).

Seriously, we need a guide as sticky "how to create polls".

In addition I "love" the current result of the poll. The magicka DK as DD is the class which does 5k dps more than sorcs or NBs in the Maw in average, if he gets the needed support. I was able to pull 31k dps at Bogdan with my magicka templar and with Focus and Aura, he is able to handle ressources much better as a magicka DK or Sorc.

The player makes all the difference.

A really experienced player will make a Stam Sorc look OP, the only weak setup our community can agree upon.

You can have the suppossed OP Magicka Sorc fight the apparently terrible Stamina Sorc. The Stamina Sorc would easily win if the player is skilled versus the common zergling.

My perspective encompasses a pure PvP solo player viewpoint. It's a bit odd but I've been noticing far more Magicka/Stamina NB, Stamina DK, and Magicka Templar these days than anything else.

Sorcs are becoming pretty uncommon. The OP Magicka Sorcs that everyone boasts about are almost always horrible (remember that it is only the skilled Magicka Sorcs that can shieldstack effectively). Most will activate Hardened Ward 1-2 times and then forget that they can be broken through in a few hits.

Obviously you are talking about PvP since these are the forums... and to that I say Magicka Nightblade. It does not need any nerfs though.

None of the classes need nerfs. Shields need a very minor tweak but nothing more. There are underlying bulls*** mechanics that blend too well with Magicka NB atm which allow them to zergbomb very effectively. Individual classes aren't causing balance issues right now. Terribly-designed sets, broken skills, and a stupid meta + LAG cause all of the current PvP-related issues.

Id go with Dragonknight, since I have 2 of them and my main is one of them. Plus I like that class a lot. But in different situations others are better. It depends on which situations your most likely to encounter. Because of course each class has a different skill set. Each skill set is better or worse for different situations. If one likes to sneak around a lot no matter what, Nightblade is the class for you. While Dragonknights are head on chargers and pretty good tanks.

Sorcerer is very good in many situations and can handle many situations well no matter what. But Ive never been a big fan of being a mage. So 1st place Dragonknight, second Nightblade, third Templar and lastly Sorcerer.

So you're writing a comment on a thread regarding which class is the best right now, but pick a class you don't even play? Yeah yeah, Sypher plays a mean Magicka Sorc.... but he also plays every class skillfully.

There is no secret ZOS conspiracy theory to buff Sorcerors... if any class has gained not-so-secret buffs lately it is Magicka NB thanks to Clever Alchemist and Viscious Death.

Magicka Sorc
- The shields are strong (need slight tweak)
- The Pet burst heals are inconvenient, expensive, and have nothing versus a good Templar healer
- That high Magicka Sorc burst is both reflectable (Crystal Frags, Crushing Shock) and purgeable (Velocious Curse, unmorphed Magicka Det). If you use a strong Stamina build, you will slaughter almost any Magicka Sorc you come across. Those giving you too much trouble or killing you would probably do so with any class. Magicka builds tend to have more trouble against Magicka Sorcs because they need to burn through two shields, but again Skill>>>>>Class
