Remove White Treasures from Hard Pickpocket Targets

Why do we get them in the first place? Makes it not worth the effort, even with Light Fingers maxed which never guarantees success anyway, because it feels like you have the same chance at better treasures from Easy and Medium targets.

    If I'm lazy and hard targets are the closest to me, that's what I'm going to go after for the 'pickpocket 10/3' quests.

    Maybe so but kind of hard to tell when RNGeebus is up to his shenanigans. They should make it like this:

    Easy: 75% White 25% Green
    Med: 40% White 50% Green 10% Blue
    Hard: 75% Green 20% Blue 5% Purple

    Hey, I'm with you. I'd love higher drop rates. I was just saying that I notice a significant increase when I pick hard targets. I leveled on PC and PS4 just pickpocketing (since you get the points for the pickpocket as well as the fence/laundering). Definitely get better drops from Hard targets.

    However, the purple are ridiculously rare. Seems like it does need tweaking.

    Removing or decreasing drop chance of white items on hard targets would make a lot of sense, especially considering they often catch you even with maxed out pickpocket perk.

    And in all fairness item values when sold to NPCs are not that great compared to making money in the player market, Purples a possible exception. However, White Treasures are utter garbage. Who is going to waste a fence on 40 gold?

    Caveat this with targets that are hard to pick pocket at max Legerdemain and not artificially hard (ie not having pickpocket at 4/4)

    I've gotten stacks of lockpicks from "hard" targets and tons of other white items on the first and second picks. I do agree that white items shouldn't drop from hard targets but the (in)justice system rarely, if ever gets dev attention so I wouldn't hold my breath.

    I have several characters that I can thieve with. I find it far more effective to not be too picky about what stolen good I sell. Once I reach my fencing limit I just switch to my next character.

    100% agree. I don't waste my time pickpocking anymore when I could just lockpick safeboxes quickly with guaranteed minimum green drops.

    I pickpocket for fun and to burn thru the hundreds of edicts I have in my bank from farming Abah's Watch Motifs.

    Hard targets I usually just pick the 1st time then BoW them since its too risky for more attempts afterwards.
