How do items stack

Hey there I have a question if I have multiple items with the same property to they all stack?

For example if I have 3 items which grant 123, 410 and 200 magika respectively will I gain 733 magika or would I just get 410 as it's the largest boost.

Khajiit stack very carefully.

And items that give Magicka stack as you'd expect. So you would get that 733. The only time bonuses/abilities don't stack is when they grant an ability (e.g. "Major Sorcery"). You can't stack two major or two minors, but you could stack a Major and a Minor. Other than that, almost everything can and will stack.

Thanks for that. You would think it would be something that would be easy to determine but when searching for this game ... well things are very confusing / convoluted.

I was worried that I was wasting slots with duplicated items but it's really good to know I am not.

Thanks again... been playing about a month and having a LOT of fun.

This game might be my DDO killer and considering I have been playing that since launch that is saying something.

Not trying to be weird but can you provide a specific example.

I assume your asking about gear but its not clear if these are enchants, traits or set bonuses.
