    I'm pretty sure there is an unwritten forum rule called the Slippery Salt slope, where no Alliance War post can go 5 pages without divagating into tip-for-tap forum pvp

      Ah, the "elite small man" group in ESO:

      - runs 6-16 players
      - cares nothing about factions or objectives
      - avoids other "elite small man" groups
      - loves FCs because of "good fights"
      - seeks out larger groups of players to fight
      - gloats when it wins
      - never stops whining about zergs when it loses

      I had no idea people would feel so strongly about Pheonix when I was testing it on the PTS. I was worried I was making everyone farm it for no reason.

      It's amusing that Vicious Death exists but the complaint is about Pheonix.

      Also keep in mind that a lot of players complaining about Phoenix either used it when it was bugged or ran with players who did.

      These are people who are too stupid to even feel the discomfort of cognitive dissonance. They use whatever means possible to win, and complain about anything used to defeat them.

      They form organized groups of skilled players, seek out random unorganized players to roll over and celebrate because they were meaninglessly "outnumbered".
